[LLVMdev] Planned web server downtime (7/24/07 10:00PM-12:00AM PDT)
(I apologize if you get multiples of this mail, we are having mailing
list issues)
FYI..tonight from 10:00PM-12:00AM PDT the web server and subversion
access will be down. I suspect that we won't need that entire 2 hour
time block, but just plan on not having httpd access during that time.
Thanks,

Is there a web page with HLVM docs? There's a README.txt in the
subversion repository:
https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/hlvm/trunk/README.txt
which says:
HLVM comes with documentation in HTML format. These are provided in

[LLVMdev] NEWS: HLVM merges with LLVM
All,
Chris Lattner and I had a recent discussion about merging the HLVM
(http://hlvm.org/) and LLVM (http://llvm.org/) projects. We agreed in
principle and the merging of the two projects will now commence.
This merger makes sense for both projects. LLVM needs to expand into
the realm of front end tool kits. HLVM provides LLVM with some initial
front-end capabilities. Since HLVM uses LLVM and

[LLVMdev] Subversion Migration
Dear All,
I've just heard that there's been a recent discussion on the IRC channel
about moving the LLVM source repository from CVS to Subversion (SVN) and
that this migration may happen "soon."
Is such a migration being planned, and if so, what is the timeframe?
How will the migration be performed? I and other LLVM users have
deadlines in the near future, so we would like to

Great, I'm glad to see this happening. Thanks for making it happen.

FreeBSD.org begins switch to Subversion
The FreeBSD Project has begun the switch of its source code management
system from CVS to Subversion. At this point in time, FreeBSD's
developers are making changes to the base system in the Subversion
repository. There is a replication system in place that exports our
work to the legacy CVS tree on a continuous basis.
People who are using our extensive CVS based distribution network

[LLVMdev] Top Level Stuff
I just have a couple of comments on this:
1. Minor issue: I think the README should be in text format (or text
and HTML) so that someone checking it out on the command line can
read it easily.
2. If the projects directory goes away, we should provide a different
mechanism for someone starting a new project based on LLVM to use as
a template. This could include, minimally, a Makefile and

[LLVMdev] IMPORTANT: Web server restart and downtime TOMORROW
All,
llvm.org will be restarted tomorrow (Thursday, April 25) starting at 10:30am PDT. After the first restart, a system update will occur, followed by another restart.
I would estimate that the server will be unavailable from 10:30-11:00am PDT (maybe less).
Thank you for your patience!

Missing Dependency subversion is needed by package subversion-ruby
Greets.
I''m currently trying to install GIT on an RHEL5 box. I''ve tried to
both build from source and install via yum. In both instances I
continue to receive the error message (full error stack at the end):
[code]Error: Missing Dependency: subversion = 1.4.2-2.el5 is needed by
package subversion-ruby[/code]
If I''m reading this correctly I''m seeing that svn
