[LLVMdev] LLVM Expansions
perhaps one should ask why a compiler has not compiled itself to
binary and requires a 3rd party compiler to exist.
Someone please send me lli that works on a pxa270 (which has never
been tested?) and make sure it runs in PocketPC(win) so I dont have to
wait another 20 hours to compile a damned compiler.

[LLVMdev] LLVM Expansions
It is very relevant that LLVM look into handeling HDL and other binary
and analogue operation modeling capbilities, as well as expand this
abstractly above in the other direction to include complex structure
optimization that is critical in realtime, dynamic and VM operations.
Without confirming the true characteristics of the lower structure
types and operating characteristics (especially

[LLVMdev] Segment Register Use
I realize I am one of the few who uses the segment registers
(especially CS and DS) on the ia32 chips for example, and a definite
few with complete segregation models that rival specialized physical
processors...
GCC still fails to use these correctly and if your LLVM still depends
on either Generic or some of the RTL models they use in various
processor definitions, I express concern for

If you're tired and have to resort to shouting and insults then don't
post. Just delete the email or wait until you're less tired and
consider again.

info
HI
I'm a student in chemical engineering, and i have to implement an algoritm about FIVE PARAMETERS INTERPOLATION for a calibration curve (dose, optical density)
y = a + (c - a) /(1+ e[-b(x-m])
where
x = ln(analyte dose + 1)
y = the optical absorbance data
a = the curves top asymptote
b = the slope of the curve
c = the curves bottom asymptote
m = the curve X intercept

I think this is the case unless the compiler you are talking about can
bootstrap.

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Fix Emacs package formatting
Hi
I'd like users to be able to install the LLVM major modes from
MELPA[1], the most popular Emacs package repository. However, these
files are not well-formed packages.
I've made the following changes:
* Both files have valid package headers and footers (you can verify
with M-x checkdoc).
* Fixed style warnings generated by checkdoc.
* Fixed a byte-compiler warning in llvm-mode.el.

FS corruption? bogus i_mode
Hello,
I am doing some testing on a PXA270 based processor (on a single
board computer) which makes the processor vulnerable to bit flips. One
such bit flips seems to have corrupted the file system.
The debug port on the board (it is a single board computer) had the
following message when i think the FS corruption occured :
<7>init_special_inode: bogus i_mode (33061)

Samba shares becoming inactive after a while
When a user is not using a samba share, after a while they become
"inactive". When a user wants to access the share again, it takes an
irritating long time before they get access again. The (windows)
application that does the accessing is not responding during that
time. There are no drive letters assigned to the shares in a logon
script. When I do assign a drive letter to the share (in

Multiple bitrate from the same source ?
Hi,
I'd like to broadcast the same source at multiple bitrate. Is it
possible ? Have you got some clues ?

disappointed with group
Hi all,
must say I have found the help in this group very disapointing. Have
mail numerous times for help with some (in hindsight) simple problems.
yet no one (ok 1 person) has attempted to aid me.
If this group was ONLY filled with novices and users I could accept this
but I have seen members of the development team , and others who have
insight into the workings of icecast comment on other

ogg bitrate scaling
I'm trying to get a bitrate scaled live ogg stream working,
but I've not found out how to get this running with the
current tools. I've downloaded the CVS icecast2, and darkice,
but the only option seems to be if the same stream is actually
encoded multiple times at different bitrates. This is not
good for my cpu.
Can I get bitrate scaled ogg streams working with the current
tools?

Displaying song titles
OK, I'm a clueless newbie...I'm using icecast on a
colocated server as a mirror to my shoutcast
server. Everything works ok, but the only info
shown in winamp is the stream title (station ID)
when connecting to the mirror. The shoutcast server
displays song info as it should, but the mirror is
not parsing it. How do I set things up to display

R lmer & SAS glimmix
Hi,
I am trying to fit a model with lmer in R and proc glimmix in SAS. I have
simplified my code but I am surprised to see I get different results from
the two softwares.
My R code is :
lmer(y~age_cat + (1|cat),data=fic,family=binomial(link = "logit"), NaGQ=1)
My SAS code is :
ods output Glimmix.Glimmix.ParameterEstimates=t_estimates;
proc glimmix data=tab_psi method=laplace;
