[LLVMdev] lli, llvm-ld and runtime libraries
Hello again, I'm exploring llvm's intermediary representation with this code: //////////////////////////////////// %.LC0 = internal constant [13 x sbyte] c"hello world\0A\00" declare int %puts(sbyte*) implementation int %main() { %cast210 = getelementptr [13 x sbyte]* %.LC0, long 0, long 0; call int %puts(sbyte* %cast210) ret int 0 }

[LLVMdev] Newbie JITter
Hi, I'm experimenting with using LLVM to generate dynamic FFI bridges in VisualWorks Smalltalk. LLVM is an amazing thing! I'm going from dynamically generated assembler source to machine code, and I have that all working, copied from the llc tool and the JIT example. I have two questions: 1. What optimization passes, if any, should I run on the module before I pass it to the

[LLVMdev] LLVM binaries for Windows and more
Hi! I want to use LLVM for my own "pet" programming language compiler as a backend. Currently it generates C code, but I am not satisfied with this approach as generating high-level C (with proper type declarations!) is horrible. So here are my questions/problems with LLVM: 1.) Are there operations that add, sub, mul integers with overflow checking? How much work would it be to add

[LLVMdev] newbie question regarding llvm-mingw
Hello, I'm playing around with the llvm-tools. On linux everything worked as expected: I downloaded and compiled the llvm-source. Assembled (llvm-as) and linked (llvm-ld) a hello_world program and executed it successfully. For windows I have downloaded the compiled mingw32-binaries: http://llvm.org/releases/2.2/llvm-2.2-x86-mingw32.tar.bz2 I used the following hello_world program from the

quota support on AIX
Hellow, members I want to use SAMBA with disk quota support on AIX machine, but have not succeeded yet. Are there any members who could succeeded setting up SAMBA on that environment? OS:AIX4.3.3 SAMBA:2.2.5 configure option:--with-quotas First, I configured AIX's quota environment, and confirmed quota worked fine. And I accessed to SAMBA, but disk size displayed on Windows explorer did

EMails from mindrot.org blocked by web.de ?
Hello, I can see my previous posting and Damiens reply but I never got his answer nor does it help to subscribe to the openssh-unix-dev at mindrot.org list. The subscription confirmation never appears in my inbox. Maybe you and the web.de admins can sort the problems out. Thanks, David _______________________________________________________________ SMS schreiben mit WEB.DE FreeMail - einfach,

LDS Scripture Search Reverse Text
Hi, I'm running ubuntu 8.04, wine-1.0, and I used the recommended package installation script (hardy.sh). A bit of background on the problem - there was no problem at some point prior to my upgrade to ubuntu 8.04 (I hadn't used the program for some time). I could use the search function just fine. After my upgrade, when you used the "search" function, it would crash the

Detecting disconnect on TDM400P with 3 FXO ports and 1 FXS port
Hellow everyone, here's an other newby question. I've got a * configured with the card in the subject line. At times Asterisk fails to notice a disconet from the incoming line going into one of the FXO ports. Consequently it just keeps the line off-hook for ever and that causes my provider to mark the line aut of order. Is there any way to "help" Asterisk notice the disconect?
