[LLVMdev] attempt to make dummy drivers for llvm-gcc for f77, java and objc
Hi, I am sick of remembering things, when configuring and compiling, so I would like to help make the cvs configuring and building of llvm easier. Here are a set of empty files that produce broken f771,jc1 and cc1obj. At least the make does not break. Right now I am only compiling and linking in these two new files via shell scripts as a test. If you are interested, I can integrate this into the

[LLVMdev] Compiling llvm-gcc in linux/ppc
OK, seems like there were unused TARGET_MACHO macros that would protect these errors from happening. I made some modifications that add #if TARGET_MACHO. [LLVMdev] gfortran: link error building gfortran on linux
Hi, in trying to build an llvm-gfortran on linux from today's gcc4 SVN, I get the following link errors that didn't show up on OS X. This is also using LLVM CVS from this morning. They appear to mostly be related to CodeWarrior compatibility code, but a couple are less obvious. What's the best way to fix this? I'm stuck without my powerbook for at least three weeks and I'd

[LLVMdev] LLVM-gcc for Ada
Thanks for the suggestion, Andre. I downloaded GNAT GPL 2007, and followed the directions on your web page. Now I get a lot of C++ errors. In fact, the output I captured to a log file is over six megabytes just from the start of the problem command to the termination of the make. I'm obviously not going to include it all here, but the command and the first few errors are copied below.

[LLVMdev] data exchange between loadable pass and backend
Hello, I have an analysis pass and a target machine class, both in different dynamically loadable libraries (plugins). There is no problem to use the analysis pass (opt -load=libanalysis.dylib -barpass foo.bc), but is it possible to get data from the analysis pass (by getAnalysis) while using the backend? AFAIK it is only allowed to have one plugin argument for llc (like: llc

I posted this message first. But it was missing so I post again. I think there is a some bug in build configration files. Can you check up the following errors and fix it? [LLVMdev] gfortran link failure in current llvm svn
IMHO, this is one of my biggest concerns about Apple eventually switching over to llvm-gcc. The absence of the rigorous patch review process required in FSF gcc will tend to allow these sort of issues to slip by.
