[LLVMdev] Compiler name: Nāga
Hi, the idea of a dragon theme reminded me of the dragon-like serpents called "Nāga" from Cambodian mythology, among other places. Here's a brief link explaining the specific Cambodian meaning - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naga_(mythology)#N.C4.81gas_in_Cambodia I like this as a name, because it's unique short and easy to type and remember (as long as you omit the accent,

We probably want to have the .org available. I like the dragon theme but most of the familiar dragon names are taken. The Hydra of Greek mythology was a

[Stat related] Understanding Portmanteau test
Sorry to be off-topic. Can somebody please explain me what is Portmanteau test? Why it's name is like that? When I would say, a particular test is portmanteau test? I did some googling but got no satisfactory answer at all. Please anybody help for understanding that? Regards, -- View this message in context:

[LLVMdev] "Name that compiler"
Hi Everyone, LLVM is a growing project, and many of us are very fond of it. :) LLVM is continuing to grow, both in maturity in specific areas and in scope of areas that it is applicable to. When we first started the project, we focused on the design of the intermediate representation. It is a strong design goal that the IR be a self-contained virtual instruction set, which fully describes

Hello, I would like to let produce a LLVM coffee mug for myself for non-commerical use. Am I allowed to use the logos on your website for the production? Thanks in advance. Ok thank you very much that sounds great. Do you know where I could get the derivate logos in bigger resolution? On the site not all logos are available in .svg format. Thanks in advance. greetings, dex 2015-08-14 18:31 GMT+02:00 Chris Lattner <clattner at apple.com>: > > On Aug 14, 2015, at 3:52 AM, deus ex via llvm-dev <llvm-dev at lists.llvm.org> > wrote: > >

Thank you very much, this one I found I meant the other logos. Unfortunately there is no link to the other logos .svg or .ai format. Do you have a clue or how I could contact the creator of this logo? Thanks again for your patience. greetings, dex 2015-08-15 0:27 GMT+02:00 Ted Kremenek <kremenek at apple.com>: > There is a link to the Adobe Illustrator Version at the bottom of the

Vector Autoregeressive Models: Adequation tests to perform
Hello, I am currently testing a Vector AR of dim 3 over not a lot of data (135 * 3 observations) . To test the adequation of my vecot ar, I use the Schwarz Bayesian Criterion and the classic modified Portmanteau test on the residuals (it can be found for instance in http://www.iue.it/PUB/ECO2004-8.pdf , page 15) -> the null hypothesis is "the residuals process are a vectorila white

I don't like very much mithology or fantasy names. A portmanteau is more professional (even if it sounds funny). For now IMHO the best proposal is Omnipiler and OmniC, even if the last one reminds too much of C. Maybe Omnic (with the lowercase c), or Omnip are better. Simple, elegant and somehow reminds of something technological (to me at least :P). So my idea is to list some key words and

No mac bots on http://lab.llvm.org:8011/console ?
Hi, as far as I can tell the only mac bot on http://lab.llvm.org:8011/console is http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/lld-x86_64-darwin13/builds/37511 which only runs "check-lld". lld is probably the only tool in the LLVM / clang repos that's not widely used on macOS. What happened to the mac bots that run check-clang, check-clang-tools, check-clangd, check-llvm, and so on? Nico

Wine and opengl error!!!
Hi all, I'm having trouble running windows games from Fedora 9, 64 bit, using wine rc3. I've tried Command & Conquer 3, Age Of Mythology and Jazz Jackrabbit 2. All games fail. I mostly get an error saying that direct3d9 won't work without opengl. However, I have opengl. I've run glxgears and it runs fine. Following is the output: 8877 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1775.333 FPS 9327

[LLVMdev] "Name that compiler"
Hi The Dragon book, led my thoughts to "Here be dragons" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Here_be_dragons "In another context, software programmers sometimes use it to indicate especially difficult or obscure sections of code in a program so that others do not tamper with them." Why not some dragon name ? or maybe someone can use this idea to come up with something else. /f
