All, Here's an update on the Developer's Meeting. I've created a page for the meeting on the main web site at http://llvm.org/DevMtgMay2007.html. If you want to find out the latest, please visit that page. From here on out, I will be tracking the meeting's progress on that page. However, I'll still send out one of these update notes when there are significant developments.

All, I'm pleased to announce that we will be holding a 2007 LLVM Developer's Meeting in a few months. This is a great opportunity for everyone to share ideas, plan the future, and get to know one another. The poll taken at the end of last year indicates a strong interest in such a meeting. This is just an announcement that the meeting will go forward. Further details will be forthcoming.

Gabe, I'm quite new to hacking on LLVM, but I'll give you an idea I had reading some of the recent dev list posts. I think investigating concurrency with regards to LLVM would be very useful (what with multi-cores and all). This could be concurrency in regards to GC, or it could be simply looking at how LLVM can best interface with standard concurrency paradigms (OpenMP, MPI)

I offered to do the web site a couple of weeks ago. Life got in the way temporarily, and it took me a long time to make it look the way that I wanted and to make it look the same in IE6.
