MAC OS X compile -> 'OpenGL development headers not found'
Hey everyone, I want to compile and start using Wine on my Mac, but I'm getting the following message from ./configure: configure: WARNING: OpenGL development headers not found. OpenGL and Direct3D won't be supported. Since I want OpenGL and Direct3D working, this is a bit of a problem. My system is not configured funny or anything. It is a clean system running Mac OS X Snow Leopard with

Making wine use the correct OpenGL libraries
I am trying to compile Wine under Snow Leopard and I finally managed to fix the issue where it could find the OpenGL development headers, but... having done that, it finds the wrong OpenGL libraries by default, in other words, running ./configure with: ./configure CPPFLAGS='-I/usr/X11/include' Results in: checking for GL/gl.h... yes checking for GL/glx.h... yes checking for GL/glu.h... yes

[LLVMdev] A cool use of LLVM at Apple: the OpenGL stack
[I just got official okay to mention this in public. This was previously announced at Apple's WWDC conference last week.] For those who are interested, Apple announced that they are using the LLVM optimizer and JIT within their Mac OS 10.5 'Leopard' OpenGL stack (which was distributed in beta form to WWDC attendees). LLVM is used in two different ways, at runtime: 1. Runtime

[LLVMdev] Help with citation
Dear guys, I'm writing a paper that uses LLVM heavily, and I would like to cite that LLVM is a production compiler, e.g it is used in commercial applications. I know that the Mac OpenGL drivers use LLVM in Leopard. Is there a formal document stating this that I could cite? thanks, Fernando

Can't activate GLRC what does this mean?
Have a program I am trying to run, and, I have it now getting this far. This message comes from the Windows program, not wine. Then, it ends up quitting due to the issue. So, GLRC appears to be related to opengl is I am reading this correctly, and, I am on Mac OSX Snow Leopard. Anyone have any clue how I can get this message to go away?

[LLVMdev] LLVM as an OpenGL backend
Would it be feasible to compile LLVM IR into shading language assembler? If so, is this already being done? This would provide the obvious benefits of not having to differentiate between GLSL and HLSL (et al.) and the pleasure of using some other language to write and test the shader's that have support as an LLVM frontend. I've googled and found nothing about this. The only LLVM and

Xrender and OpenGL troubles in Darwine
Hey all, I'm very new to Wine, but I was very excited about the potential behind it, so I tried installing the 2.2.3 X11 XQuartz package from http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki/Releases and kronenberg.org/darwine 's stable 1.0 version of Darwine on my Macbook that is running Leopard 10.5.3. The installs were easy, but I'm having some difficulty now with actually getting some

LLVM May Status Update
Hi LLVMers, Sorry for the delay, this status update should have been out a couple weeks ago. Things have been absolutely crazy here. :) May Status Update ----------------- Overall, since the LLVM 1.2 release, we've fixed several LLVM optimizations to produce better code (most have fallen into the "stop doing stupid things" category) and implemented some new optimizations.
