[LLVMdev] llvm gcc 4.0 not compiling
I am trying to compile llvm gcc 4.0 from svn today and I'm getting the
error below. It looks like the file LLVMBuilder.h. I looked in past
versions of LLVM and that file exists; however, it not longer seams to
exist. Has it purposely been removed?

[LLVMdev] llvm-gcc-4.2-2.6 build failed,
I try to build llvm-gcc-4.2-2.6.source before build and install llvm-2.6, the configure is shown bellow
../llvm-gcc-4.2/configure --prefix=/home/ts/program/ --program-prefix=llvm- --enable-llvm=/home/ts/llvm/llvm-2.6 --enable-languages=c,c++
where, it is the path where llvm-2.6 source is stored, -enable-llvm=/home/ts/llvm/llvm-2.6
the "make" gave error message as bellow:

You need to configure with --enable-llvm.
(It would still be nice if V1DI_pointer_node was defined; I'll take a look at that.)

[LLVMdev] RFC: Patch
Hi all,
I have a patch that would potentially help Objective-C 2. In the
"make_decl_llvm()" in llvm-backend.cpp, there is code to search
through the already generated global variables. Objective-C goes
through this code twice with the same identifier. The first time, is
to create meta-data for a "property". The second time is to add a
reference to that property into the

[LLVMdev] Constants.cpp:368: error: `INT8_MAX' undeclared (first use this function)
Hi
By manipulating a #define for G++ I've managed to compile int64_t type with
ostream.
Now, I'm stopped by some to me unknown constants:

rsync-2.6.9pre2: undeclared variable in source code
A build of rsync-2.6.9pre2 on DEC Alpha OSF/1 4.0 failed because of
an undeclared variable at lib/inet_ntop.c:84:
memcpy(dst, tmp, len + 1);
len is not declared; the code looks like the third argument should
instead be the value
strlen(tmp) + 1
I made that change, restarted the build and validation, and got
this report:

[LLVMdev] hacked up llvm-gcc bootstraps on linux-x86_64
Bugs 1519 and 1521 currently prevent a clean bootstrap on Linux
x86_64. I was able to hack it to work :-)
The attached patch includes two parts. One is a tentative fix bug
1519: just set LastFieldStartsAtNonByteBoundry in
allFieldsAreNotBitFields.
The other one is a plain hack. llvm-gcc and gcc disagree on how to
pass some structures, so stage2 gcc fails to use the libcpp compiled
by gcc. So I

[LLVMdev] gfortran: patch, question
Hi, I have a first quick patch and a question. The patch links f951
with g++ when LLVM is enabled. It's at the end of this email.
I wanted to know if I should submit patches with comments around them
like the "APPLE LOCAL LLVM" ones that mark the LLVM-only changes to
the tree. I'd like to make it as easy as possible to apply these, so
let me know any rules I should be following.
