[LLVMdev] Recalculating live intervals
So what addIntervalsToSpills returns are new intervals to allocate with infinite weights, right? And I need not to allocate the old interval. Should hasStackSlot return true on its register then? [LLVMdev] Recalculating live intervals
I'm not sure about one thing: you assign stack slot to each new register you replace the spilled one with. And then you need to allocate physical registers to them. Is it possible to assign physical register to the virtual one which has a stack slot already? Multiple imputation, especially in rms/Hmisc packages
Hello, I have a general question about combining imputations as well as a question specific to the rms and Hmisc packages. The situation is multiple regression on a data set where multiple imputation has been used to give M imputed data sets. I know how to get the combined estimate of the covariance matrix of the estimated coefficients (average the M covariance matrices from the individual

Rms package - problems with fit.mult.impute
Hi! Does anyone know how to do the test for goodness of fit of a logistic model (in rms package) after running fit.mult.impute? I am using the rms and Hmisc packages to do a multiple imputation followed by a logistic regression model using lrm. Everything works fine until I try to run the test for goodness of fit: residuals(type=c("gof")) One needs to specify y=T and x=T in the fit. But

Vulnerability in Elm-ME+
Hello, I have confirmed that the recently-reported vulnerability in Elm is also present in Elm-ME+ and thus also in Debian GNU/Linux version 1.2, prerelease version 1.3, and development tree "unstable". Below is a short diff to correct the problem. Debian GNU/Linux 1.2.x uses stock Elm 2.4pl25. Users of that version of Elm should upgrade to Elm-ME+ as detailed below. Debian 1.3

Mapping virtual registers to physical registers
Hi, In the context of MachineCode custom inserter, I'm trying to enforce the mapping of virtual register to a physical one. According to the documentation https://llvm.org/docs/CodeGenerator.html#mapping-virtual-registers-to-physical-registers There are two ways: the direct one and the indirect ones. The indirect ones refer VirtRegMap class that I've never found. So I tried the direct

how to make aggregation in R ?
Hi, I am trying to aggregate the sum of my test data.frame as follow: testDF <- data.frame(v1 = c("a", "a", "a", "a", "a", "b", "b", "b", "b", "b", "c", "c", "c", "c", "c", "d", "d", "d", "d",

Migrating from mbox to maildir, which converter is compatible with dovecot
Hi, I'm testing/debuging the migration from mbox to maildir in a mailserver running Dovecot 1.0alpha5. I migrated all 472715 emails(in a test server) and later noted that dovecot could not get the same flags/status of the emails as in the mbox. I was using perfect_maildir.pl and I think its not dovecot fault. Seems to me that perfect_maildir.pl convert the emails in a way that dovecot could

aregImpute: beginner's question
Hello R-help, Thanks for everyone's very helpful suggestions so far. I am now trying to use aregImpute for my missing data imputation. Here are the code and error messages. [LLVMdev] Folding instructions on X86
Dear LLVMers, I need help with one error in my register allocator. I am getting errors when folding instructions for the x86 (it does not happen when I use the PowerPC as target). The problem is that, when I execute something like: mi = mbb->insert(mbb->erase(mi), fmi), where mbb is a MachineBasicBlock, valgrind gives this error message: Address 0x42C62B0 is 24 bytes inside a block

pam_limits and OpenSSH
Hi, I have an account server with many users. It uses pam_limits module to limit memory usage etc. The problem is that sometimes SSH rejects connection after the password is entered. In syslog it prints something like "fork: Resource temporary unavailable". After killing some root processes it works perfectly. Perhaps the daemon first sets process limits and then switches to

[LLVMdev] Identifying the instructions that uses a pointer used as a function argument
Hello all; So here is my goal: *** If there is a Call instruction to myFunction(int * val), I need to identify all the instructions that uses val in the IR and replace the uses with a newly created pointer. I will also be changing the argument of myFunction to the new pointer. int * val = malloc/calloc; ... myFunction(val); .... *val = 45; becomes== int * val = malloc/calloc; int * val1 =

Bug#543479: network-bridge doesn't handle secondary address of ${netdev}
Package: xen-utils-common Version: 3.2.0-2 In network bridge, IP addresses of ${netdev} are correctly transferred to ${tdev} which later is renamed to ${bridge} (by default = ${netdev}). But then there is ifup ${bridge} which sets up again the network configuration for ${bdrige}/${netdev} and aliases (e.g. eth0:1 defined in /etc/network/interfaces) are loosed. Regards, Ognyan Kulev

lattice: overlap histogram
Dear R users, Is it possible to have an overlap histogram plot? For example: stuff <- data.frame(Mode = c("Land", "Air"), AgeGroup = c("Young", "Adult", "Old"), Value = sample(1:300)) histogram( ~Value | AgeGroup * Mode, data = stuff, auto.key = TRUE) Instead of having 2 * 3 panel, I want to have just 3 panel, overlapping the "Mode"
