Summer of Code, LLVM, parallelization and R
Hi everybody, I'm currently working towards my Master's degree as a student of Computer Science at the University of Saarbr?cken and highly interested in compiler construction, interpretation techniques, optimization, programming languages and more. :) Two professors of my university approached me about an interesting project just a few days ago: Developing a LLVM-based JIT

[LLVMdev] Summer of Code
Google's SoC is becoming a huge program, and I expect we'll get a few students wanting to do LLVM projects. (I already got one and asked him to write to llvmdev.) Is there anyone who can volunteer to put up a simple set of guidelines for LLVM SoC projects? (That will also get LLVM noticed by anyone searching for SoC.) It can be modeled after (but much shorter than) GNU's

Xiph and Google Summer of Code 2007
Hi all, This year, as last year, Xiph's planning on applying to be part of Google's Summer of Code program. We're going to send in our application tomorrow, so: If you're interested in mentoring a project as part of Xiph, see (and add to) our list of proposed projects. We can't, of course, guarantee anything at this point, but any willing mentors are welcome:

[LLVMdev] Summer of Code idea -- detecting undefined behavior
I know pc-lint is working fine on detecting some nasty coding fault. But is it illegal implement it in clang? And also there is so much other tools for code analyze:) 2010/3/26, yiqiuping1986 <yiqiuping1986 at 126.com>: > 呵呵,不急,还有一学期的时间。 > > > 2010-03-26 > > > > yiqiuping1986 > > > > 发件人: 罗勇刚(Yonggang Luo) > 发送时间: 2010-03-26 15:05:33 > 收件人:

Syslinux is now participating in GSoC 2012
Hi all, Some days ago I attempted to submitt Syslinux as a mentoring organization for Google Summer of Code 2012, but Google rejected it. As kernel.org has been accepted as a mentoring organization, and also listed Syslinux as one of the things they intend to develop, we can work with them under their umbrella. As I'm currently the only mentor of kernel.org (for Syslinux, specifically),
