We don't currently have a list scheduler in the target-independent code generator, but we do have the infrastructure needed to implement one. Check out the

[LLVMdev] List Scheduling on LLVM Instructions
Didn't SparcV9 backend implement list scheduling? 2005/12/16, Chris Lattner <sabre at nondot.org>: > On Thu, 15 Dec 2005, thean kiat sew wrote: > > I am planning to use list scheduling on LLVM instructions. > > Any recommendation on how to start ? [LLVMdev] Building LLVM cfrontend
The very first time you build GCC, you should do "make bootstrap". After that, you can use "make" and "make install" Reid. [LLVMdev] LLVM Cygwin Run Errors
Hi, I am wondering whether the bytecode generated by my llvm-gcc is correct? When I run $ llvm-gcc hello.c -o hello What I get is hello.exe.bc, and hello.exe (I can actually llvm-dis the bytecode file which is hello.exe.bc). However, I do not get a shell script(named hello) as stated in the documentation... Best Regards, Kiat On 5/25/05, Aaron Gray <angray at beeb.net> wrote: >

[LLVMdev] LLVM Cygwin Run Errors
Hi, I installed the cfrontend 1.5 and LLVM 1.5 from source in cygwin successfully using GCC3.4.3 and binutils2.15 (as in makefiles do not complain errors except some warnings). However when I do this, there are some errors like, *************************************************************** u0201201 at 9nnvf2ay /home/cfrontend/install/lib $ llvm-ranlib libiberty.a llvm-ranlib: Error opening

ODE solver
I am trying to use the package ode and periodically it will come up with this error message Warning..Internal T (=R1) and H (=R2) are such that in the machine, T + H = T on the next step (H = step size). Solver will continue anyway. And then the program just take very long to run. Is there anyway to get the program to terminate when this warning is issued instead of continuing to run ?

Defining a variable outside of optim or differential equation solver.
This is applicable to either using optim or the differential equation solver or any similar solver Suppose I want to use the differential equation solver and this is my code d<-y[2] vdpol<-function(t,y) { list(c(1, d, 3, 4 ) } stiff<-ode(y=rep(0,4),times=c(0,1),func=dvdpol,parms=1) The thing is I want d to be composed of one of state variables in the

gam plots and seWithMean
hello I'm learning mgcv and would like to obtain numerical output corresponding to plot.gam. I can do so when seWithMean=FALSE (the default) but only approximately when seWithMean=TRUE. Can anyone show how to obtain the exact values? Alternatively, can you clarify the explanation in the manual "Note that, if seWithMean=TRUE, the confidence bands include the uncertainty about the

I''ve set my DEFROUTE=no in my ifcfg-ppp0 and when I bring the ppp0 up, it deletes my old default load balance routes which I do not want, as I just want the interface to be up, but not touching my default routes any advice Thanks SEW

Class C network 223.255.255.x
Hi, Most networks are using either 10.x.x.x or 172.x.x.x or 192.168.x.x , but was curious If I can use the range 223.255.255.x for my backbone routing, this looks like a nice block to use as most ppl don''t use this, specially if you build quite a big intranet what about the whole 223.x.x.x block, will this be used on the internet? sorry if its a stupid questions Thanks Sew

Icecast/ices problem
Thanks for the suggestion. It turns out that debug for ices told me nothing but debug for icecast 2.2.0 showed that it was terminating the source at the same place in the playlist, apparently due to a lack of trailing metadata in one particular file -- icecast saw it as end of stream. After checking code updates on the TRAC system, I installed the kh branch of icecast (kh13) and this seems

reencoding experience
hello anyone of you who has used the reencoding option of ices to bring the stream at a constant bitrate would be kind to share the experience (the impact on resources and, quoting the README file - "...mpglib part of lame (what does the decoding) is rather unstable and will call exit(0) when errors are encountered." - and stability of the stream). thanks, petre -- Petre Bandac -

Dot plot of character and numeric matrix
Dear List, I have a set of data which looks like this (small set of sample) A A 0.431 A A 0.439 A A 0.507 A G 0.508 A A 0.514 I will like to use this data to plot a dot plot, with the X-axis being of type character, and my y axis of type numeric. When I try to use the dot chart function, I get the error message "'x' must be a numeric vector or matrix", which I can understand

Outlook and roaming profiles?
Hi list, I'm trying to migrate from a workgroup based Samba server to a domain based Samba server. I need the following features - Roaming profiles - LDAP based user administration / authentication I think the LDAP part is mostly doable, though I do foresee some hair tearing, but my main concern is with the roaming profiles. Users do not have a fixed workstation and log-on to whichever
