Calling dovecot-lda from maildrop/shell
Hello,
I want to make final delivery for some of my mailboxes using
dovecot-lda, since I'm interested in using sieve. My usual MDA which is
called from postfix is and will be maildrop.
First try was to call dovecot-lda from command line:
/usr/lib/dovecot/dovecot-lda -d spam at xgm.de < testmail
which gave return code 75 (EX_TEMPFAIL) and logged:
dovecot: auth-worker(3533):

Query about emphasis
Hello List,
Firstly, I was very impressed when I tried markdown 2.0 recently. Fantastic
work all!
I have a query about the treatment of emphasis.
I realise that the horse has bolted, and changes to currently supported
functionality are unlikely to attract support. However, there does seem (at
least in my tiny mind) to be a mis-match between the following stated goal
and the present

Gettings mails recently moved to a folder
Hello,
some spam training tools learn the same message over and over again.
Since I want to use a daily cronjob to train messages and I do not want
to have the same messages trained multiple times, I need to way to get
new messages in a folder.
Is there a (consolish) way to get a list of messages that were recently
moved to a folder? dovecot does not modify mtime, according to RFC 3501.

seed data
Hi
I am using seed_fu to seed initial data to tables
(http://github.com/mbleigh/seed-fu) . And in db/fixtures/state.rb
I have values like (I am filling only two data for simplicity)
State.seed_many(:name, :abbr,:fips,:country_id, [
{ :name => "Alberta", :abbr => ''AB'',:fips => ''01'', :country_id =>
2 },

Markdown and the hCal microformat
Hi, I've got a suggestion for adding something to Markdown's syntax.
I'm new to the list, so I don't know if this is likely to be received
well - I'm aware that it's not all that common (yet) to want to do
something like this, and I don't know where everyone here stands on
if or how to make markup more meaningful.
I'd like to generate some microformated

footnote:id, colons and jquery
I just received a [bug report] for Python-Markdown complaining that
colons are used in the ids of footnotes. For reference, we [output]
the same format at PHP Markdown Extra. The general complaint is that
the colon in the id attribute (`id="fnref:1"`) causes jquery to choke
when referencing that id from javascript because jquery uses colons to
indicate pseudo elements (as does CSS). As

formula argument evaluation
I suppose it would work, although "=>" is rather a descriptive symbol and
less a function.
But choosing between quoting:
"A + B => C"
and a regular function:
A + B %=>% C
probably quoting is the most straightforward, as the result of the foo()
function has to be a string anyways (which is parsed by other functions).

Casting lists to data.frames, analog to SAS
I have a specific question and a general question.
Specific Question: I want to do an analysis on a data frame by 2 or more
class variables (i.e., use 2 or more columns in a dataframe to do
statistical classing). Coming from SAS, I'm used to being able to take a
data set and have the output of the analysis in a dataset for further
manipulation. I have a data set with vote totals, with one

computation of header ids
Hi,
I'm using the header id extension from markdown extra and in my
perception it gets wrong when I use attributes on headers, for instance:
>>> md = markdown.Markdown(['extra'])
>>> md.convert('# My header {@class=red}')
u'<h1 class="red" id="my_header_classred_1">My header </h1>'
I would have expected:

formula argument evaluation
%=>% would have precendence ('order of operations') problems also.
A + B %=>% C
is equivalent to
A + ( B %=>% C)
and I don't think that is what you want.
as.list(quote(A + B %=>% C)) shows the first branch in the parse tree. The
following function, str.language, shows the entire parse tree, as in
> str.language(quote(A + B %=>% C))
`quote(A + B %=>%

Footnote output not valid.
I just received a report [1] that the footnote output we use in
Python-Markdown (an exact copy of PHP Markdown Extra [3]) is not valid
HTML [3]. If you notice he's using HTML5. At least the footnote syntax
does valid on XHTML1 or HTML4. Anyway, any suggestions on how the
various footnote implementations want to move forward with this?

Help on a Display function
>
I wanted to simulate the Matlab DISPLAY function for some time now.
After seeing a recent proposal by Gabor Grothendieck I came up with the
following solution,
display <- function(...) {
my_names <- lapply(substitute(placeholderFunction(...))[-1], deparse)
for (my in my_names) cat(my, "=", eval(parse(text=my)), "\n", sep=" ")
}
that works about as

DIF means?
Hi,
In Solairs Dtrace User Guide, page 193, it lists the arguments of ERROR probe.
One of these arguments is arg3, it is explained as "The DIF offset
into that action or -1 if not applicable".
Then what does the abbr. DIF mean?

Disambiguate List Item Followed by Code Block
Howdy,
Quick question: Since list items with multiple paragraphs need to be
indented four spaces, and code blocks are also indented four spaces,
is there any way to disambiguate a list followed by a code block?
Example:
* This is a list
item.
* And so is this.
Is this a second paragraph in the second list item,
or a code block?
It looks like Markdown.pl and discount

multiline header
Hi,
first of all thanks for such a great syntax, so far it's the best I know!
I have a document with quite long titles and I was wondering if it was
possible to hard-break them:
e.g.:
This is a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrry long title
=======================================================
would be
This is a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrry
