Roo gem performance problems
I am getting unacceptable performace problems by using the roo gem for reading a file by using XLSX or XLS library from this gem. Someone may suggest me an alternative about how to parse an .XLSX file? <code> parsed_file = Excel.new(filename,false, :ignore) if (file_format.upcase == "XLS") parsed_file = Excelx.new(filename,false, :ignore) if (file_format.upcase ==

[PATCH v2 2/2] inspector: rpm summary and description may not be utf-8
The application inspection code assumes the data in the RPM database are encoded in UTF-8. However this is not always the case. As a basic workaround, try to parse the string to UTF-8 and if that fails, try converting it from latin-1. --- inspector/expected-fedora.img.xml | 4 ++++ lib/inspect-apps.c | 30 +++++++++++++++++++++++----

I''m using vif-route as my network script. I''ve added set -x to the xen hotplug script change. I''ve also added a command to do a listing of the xenstore directory. Here''s the snippet: == ++ ip= +++ xenstore_read_default backend/vif/4/0/ip '''' +++ xenstore-read backend/vif/4/0/ip xenstore-read: couldn''t read path backend/vif/4/0/ip +++

Parse Instruction
Hi ES, From what I understand instruction parsing is divided into two parts: - Parsing an operand list (XXXAsmParser::ParseInstruction) - Turning the operand list into an actual instruction (XXXAsmParser::MatchAndEmitInstruction) The second part does the validation (e.g. how many operands, what kind, etc) while the first part only does the parsing. That's why I think in the first part

many ways to do load balancing (or not?)
I''m a little confused about the many ways I''ve read that can be used for traffic load balancing, that is, two or more interfaces to the outside world being used transparently and efficiently by the internal machines. I heard about: a) netfilter SNAT to more than one IP. If I''m correct, this is only a round robin, that is, one connection goes here, the other goes there,
