[LLVMdev] SparcV9 branches
Hi, I need to generate a branch instruction from within CodeGenIntrinsic in SparcV9BurgISel.cpp. I generate a few instructions and add them to the mvec vector, and then I need to generate a branch whose target is the first instruction in the vector. I've seen how other portions of the code do this, but they have access to more information than CodeGenIntrinsic. Thanks, Brent

[LLVMdev] automatically generating intrinsic declarations
LLVM knows what all the types of the intrinsic functions are; I thought, why are users (including llvm-gcc...) required to duplicate all this information in order to use them? I mean in order to call getOrInsertFunction to get declarations for them. So I wrote this patch, which allows all this code to be generated automatically. Is this a good approach? [LLVMdev] Are instr_iterators invalidated when function inlining is performed?
Hi, I'm trying to write a small piece of code that inlines all calls to a particular function. The codes is as follows Function* klee_check_divF = module->getFunction("klee_div_zero_check"); assert(klee_check_divF != 0 && "Failed to find klee_div_zero_check function"); // Hack inline checks for (Module::iterator f = module->begin(), fe =

Convert Function Pointer Call to Function Call at the IR Level
Hi, I want to convert a function pointer call in the IR of MPlayer to a function call. For example, I have the following line: ... %10 = tail call i32 %7(%struct.demuxer* nonnull %0, i32 %1, i8* %2) #7, !dbg !863222 ... I want to set the target which is stored in %7 to a real function called "demux_lavf_control()" with the following definition: ... define internal i32

[LLVMdev] about switch and select instructions in SparcV9
Hi: In the file of SparcV9BurgISel.cpp, you said you didn't implement the "Switch" instruction and I also can't find how the "Select" instruction is implemented. So do you do some work to handle these two kind of instructions in other parts? Where can I find it? Thank you! -- Shuhan

[LLVMdev] Error w/ Tablegen + Intrinsics
It seems that Tablegen is generating intrinsic ID's off by in DAGISel.inc In DAGISel.inc, I have the following pattern: int64_t CN1 = Tmp0->getZExtValue(); // Pattern: (intrinsic_w_chain:f32 103:iPTR, GPRF32:f32:$src0, GPRF32:f32:$src1, GPRF32:f32:$src2) // Emits: (MACRO_FMA_f32:f32 GPRF32:f32:$src0, GPRF32:f32:$src1, GPRF32:f32:$src2) // Pattern complexity = 8 cost

Change args count in CallInstr
Hello, I have a CallInstr for "functionA". I renamed it to "functionB" but I want to decrease number of arguments as functionA accepts e.g two and functionB just one. So far, I dont find any function to just replace args / set args size. Any idea? Maybe other solution... Is there any way to create a new CallInstr for functionB, copy things from CallInstr of functionB a copy

Power curve for a wilcoxon test
Hi, I am trying to write R code to produce a power curve to show how the power of a Wilcoxon-test varies depending on the mean, with data generated from a uniform distribution. Any ideas how I should go about this?Louisa _________________________________________________________________ Amazing prizes every hour with Live Search Big Snap [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

[LLVMdev] IntrinsicLowering and several related problems
Dear all, I'm using IntrinsicLowering class to remove all intrinsics in LLVM byte-code. Unfortunately, I meet several problems: 1. Why I can not get the type of CallInst *CI? !CI->getType()->isVoidTy() is not working and how to solve it? This type information has some impacts with intrinsics such as flt_rounds. 2. Why Intrinsic::vastart and Intrinsic::powi are excluded from

Repeaded sampling
Hi all, I have a dataset. Each time I want to sample N(i) elements from it and I want to repeated sampling M times. N(i) is varied from time to time. For example, dataset = 1:50; a = list(); M = 1000; I want to do something like for(i in 1:M) { a[[i]] = sample(dataset,
