[LLVMdev] Building Tools on MinGW from CVS
I was building tools just fine last weekend, but now something has changed... The problem is that it can't find some symbols: (SymSetOptions, SymInitialize, SymGetModuleBase, SymFunctionTableAccess, etc.) I looked on the Web and these functions are in Dbghelp.lib. Are they also in libimagehlp.a? (BTW: does someone know a tool to examin the exported symbols in a MinGW foo.a library?)

[LLVMdev] How to compile llvm with mingw on Windows ?
I'm trying to compile llvm (cvs head) on windows (WinXP sp2) using the lastest mingw, but I'm getting the link errors found below. It seems that the tools are not being linked with win32 api lib (libimagehlp.a and libpsapi.a) which defines the missing symbols. The TOOLS_VERBOSE link command is at the end of the mail and does not contain those libraries. The configure line I'm

[LLVMdev] llvm-config error
Hello, Takumi, you are absolutely right! It was a problem with Perl. Many thanks! That problem solved, tried to compile again the kaleidoscope example but unfortunatelly now I get the link errors found bellow: $g++ -g –O3 toy.cpp `llvm-config –cppflags –ldflags –libs core`-o toy c:/llvm-2.7/Release/lib/libLLVMSystem.a(Signals.o):Signals.cpp:(.text+0x4d4): undefined reference to

[LLVMdev] llvm-config error
Hi I’m having a few problems building the kaleidoscope example (chapter 3) under MinGW. To build the example I use as recommended g++ -g -O3 toy.cpp `llvm-config --cppflags --ldflags --libs core` -o toy but get the following error sh: llvm-config: command not found Indeed in my “\llvm-2.7\tools\llvm-config\” build directory there is no “Release” subdirectory as I would expect (only

[LLVMdev] Shared Libraries (dlls) using MinGW
So I've been looking around for people who have built shared libraries on windows and have run in to a bit of a stumbling block. I'm able to compile without the BUILD_SHARED_LIBS flag but if I put turn the flag on as follows: cmake -G "MinGW Makefiles" -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE:STRING=Release -DBUILD_SHARED_LIBS:BOOL=ON ../llvm-2.7 Then call: mingw32-make I get: ... Linking CXX

It activates C++ exception support unconditionally while building libLLVMSystem, which is used everywhere. You'll better investigate why

Wow, I also meet this error before, I'll be pleasure if anyone can solve this problem, and by the way, are you using msys as the building env? It's seems that mingw/cmake is working but mingw/msys, and I didn't ever try with mingw/cygwin:) thanks. 2009/10/1, Ronald Pijnacker <pijnacker at dse.nl>: > Hi all, > > When I try to build llvm on windows/mingw32, I get the
