Tuýrkish Character Set
Hello, I am new to this list. I have (and all Trukish users of Samba) trouble with Turkish charactes (iso8859-9)with Samba. I saw some character definition tables in charcnv.o (in sources). I couldn't understand the logic. A part of the table for iso8859-2 is /* MSDOS Code Page 852 -> ISO-8859-2 */ update_map("\241\244\242\364\243\235\244\317\245\225\246\227\247\365");

UTF-8 patch for Samba 2.0.7
See description in the attached patch. -------------- next part -------------- This quick hack adds primitive support of UTF-8 as a server 'character set' to Samba 2.0.7. All file, share and user names are stored on server in UTF-8, and translated into client code page (not UCS2) on the fly. Additionally, server string conversion is added. Tested with Chinese and Russian Windows clients.

differences between 1.7 and 1.7.1 glmnet versions
Dear All, ? I have found differences between glmnet versions 1.7 and 1.7.1 which, in my opinion, are not cosmetic and do not appear in the ChangeLog. If I am not mistaken, glmnet appears to return different number of selected input variables, i.e. nonzeroCoef(fit$beta[[1]]) differes between versions. The code below is the same for 1.7.1 and 1.7, but you can see that outputs differ. I would

CI with confint
Hello all, I'm trying to use confint from the MASS package to compute confidence intervals for an nls object. When I plot the results, however, they don't make sense - lines cross over the fitted model or just don't match the data. Code is : Thanks for help dat<-data.frame(a,b) with(dat, plot(a,b)) model<-(nls(b~(1/exp(a*x))*n, data=dat, start=list(x=.001,n=20),

Still getting a generator hang on 2.6.7
I've gotten around to testing the generator hang bug using stunnel under 2.6.7, and I still occasionally get the same problem. It seems to be around 50% of the time. Here's some strace output from the generator and receiver from two runs, one where the generator exits properly, and one where it doesn't. Run 2 hangs indefinately. Run 1 Generator: Process 14581 attached - interrupt

[PATCH RESEND 0/1] libxl: introduce an option for disabling the non-O_DIRECT
I think I posted this patch before, but it looks like it was in December 2012 (!). 1/1 libxl: introduce an option for disabling the non-O_DIRECT workaround Ideally it would go into 4.4, at least. Provided the corresponding qemu part has gone into qemu-xen, which I think it has. Can anyone confirm ?

[LLVMdev] [DragonEgg] Mysterious FRAME coming from gimple to LLVM
Hi Duncan, A DragonEgg/GCC-related question: do you know where these strange FRAME tokens originate from (e.g. %struct.FRAME.matmul)? Compiling simple Fortran code with DragonEgg: > cat matmul.f90 subroutine matmul(nx, ny, nz) implicit none integer :: nx, ny, nz real, dimension(nx, ny) :: A real, dimension(ny, nz) :: B real, dimension(nx, nz) :: C integer :: i, j, k real,
