openssl-dev, libtool, shared vs static
Hello! Trying to compile, build, install and run Opus. My config: Ubuntu console (Windows 10 app). First problem, configure says openssl is missing. My system says that i have openssl already. Which openssl does it need? Using aptitude, i've installed everything with openssl name in it. That's tons of files and gigabytes of data. But it worked somehow. Second problem, flac-1.3.2 -

'doveadm replicator remove' only temporary?
Hi folks, Wondering if this is expected behavior; we'd like to be able to pause replication for a particular account on our 2.2.32 active-active cluster, but delivering a message (LMTP) to the account seems to turn replication back on again: (replication on) server1:~# doveadm replicator status rgiles username priority fast sync full sync success sync

browsing over workgroups problem
Each samba server in our network is providing shares on two workgroups. How can we establish that it announce itself directly in those two groups, without showing up in the other groups of the network. We defined one WINS server, which is the domain master. We could define 'local masters' but they would show up only in one of the two groups. We have tried the 'remote

A "bug" in plot.dendrogram - can't plot lty with character color
The problem: =========== Once a dendrogram has a branch with both a line type AND a color (which is a character color), the plot.dendrogram function will not plot and return an error. I say this is a bug because (I believe), we would like a dendrogram to be able to use character colors, while also allowing control over line types. This e-mail includes an example, and what I think a solution

confusing all.equal output
I believe the wording goes back to Martin Maechler many moons ago (AFAICT towards the end of the last millennium.) Gluster Summit BOF - Encryption
We had a BOF about how to do file-level volume encryption. Coupled with geo-replication, this feature would be useful for secure off-site archiving/backup/disaster-recovery of Gluster volumes. TLDR: It might be possible using EncFS stacked file system on top of a Gluster mount, but it is experimental and untested. At the moment, you are on your own. - The built-in encryption translator is

[ANNOUNCE] bdftopcf 1.1
This release imports the libXfont 1.x BDF-reading and PCF-writing code, as this program is the only known user of that code and libXfont 1.x is otherwise unmaintained. No functional difference should be apparent, this is just another step towards eliminating the old version of libXfont from the world.
