Sometimes commands do not terminate after upgrading to R 4.0 and Ubuntu 20.04
I have upgraded R (from 3.6 to 4.0) and RStudio (from 1.1 to 1.2.5) a few days ago, and Ubuntu from 18.04 to 20.04 yesterday. Since then, R sometimes never terminates when executing certain commands: ivreg (from package AER), summary (of a logit regression) and logitmfx (from package mfx). Sometimes these commands run fine, but most of the time I have to kill the process because R won't

-fno-rtti compilation option
Hi all, Sorry to bother you guys with this question coming from a young beginner, but even after some hours of research, I could not find any way to solve my issue... I have a project using LLVM APIs (3.7.0), so I compile it with options suggested by 'llvm-config -cxxflags', including -fno-rtti. Without this latter option, the build fails ("no reference to typeinfo...").

is a dual 1.5Ghz server better than a single 3Ghz for a 100 Iax users asterisk server
Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy a server that could handle 100 IAX users (g711)-(about 300 registrations) simultaneously. No zap channels. My budget is 1000$ us, Is a fast (3ghz) single server more reliable than a double cpu (like 1ghz) ? Will asterisk take full profit of two cpus? Isn't better to get a second cpu to handle system processes (like stat generation, backups...)? so that the

Asterisk process ended
Hi all, I experienced for a second time the crash of asterisk process during the night. Nothing in Asterisk messages logs, nothing in /var/log/messages can explain that. Maybe someone experienced something similar and can drive me in the resolution ? Regards, A.L -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

_ExtInt, LLVM integers and constant time
Hello everyone, After reading the nice blog post about _ExtInt, I was wondering whether operations on i128/i256 and more generally on integer types in LLVM are guaranteed to be constant time or not. For instance, for now, the x86 & aarch64 backend generate constant time code for additions on i256 integers (see https://godbolt.org/z/xMfkqz & https://godbolt.org/z/jbkSpe), but is there

VGA passthrough ? AMD-FX8, GA-990FXA-UD3, G210
Hello, Like many trying and posting here, I''m new to VGA passthrough. Computer was bought, checking compatibility from http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/VTd_HowTo The hardware is mostly not exactly on the list, but mainly new versions of the same series (I think). IOMMU "seems" to be working (not 100% sure what to check). I used debian/wheezy kernel and xen, dom0 and HVM domu.

dom0 - oom-killer - memory leak somewhere ?
Hello, I work in a hosting company, we have tens of Xen dom0 running just fine, but unfortunately we do have a few that get out of control. Reported behaviour : - dom0 uses more and more memory - no process can be found using that memory - at some point, oom killer kicks in, and kills everything, until even ssh the box becomes hard - when there is really no more process to kill, it crashes

When I call my server from a public phone, I want to route this call to the asteriskOUT trunk so that I can make long distance calls.
