[Patch]01-Add ARM5E macros
Hello, This is a first patch which add macros for ARMv5E. Also, I copy headers from other files and add company name, tell me if I'm wrong. Also, if you have any question or comment about it, feel free to contact me. opus-1.3.1 patch for ARM Cortex-M4F (single precision)
The patch prevents KEIL MDK compile warnings, like:   warning:  #1035-d: single-precision operand implicitly converted to double-precision Actually ARM Cortex-M4F has only a *single precision* (float) FPU. It's suit for all platforms. See the comment at the begin of patch file. Sincerely Forrest Zhang -------------- next part -------------- Specify the floating point constant with single

patch to fix error in src/opus_multistream_encoder.c when DISABLE_FLOAT_API is defined
Hello, for your consideration. The following patch moves the channel_pos() function from within the #if !defined(DISABLE_FLOAT_API). This change is required when compiling with FIXED_POINT and DISABLE_FLOAT_API defined. #### ### diff --git a/src/opus_multistream_encoder.c b/src/opus_multistream_encoder.c index 3efab53..6f3eb53 100644 --- a/src/opus_multistream_encoder.c +++

One question about Opus encoder
Hi, Opus team I'm Huang Hao and trouble you again. When I used the OpusRepacketizer as Jean-Marc mentioned, I got a result (maybe problem I'm not sure) that perplexes me, please give me some comments. The result be described as below: First(all init which are needed I have done), I used opus_encode() to get the encoded data successfully. The encoder control parameters are set: VBR=0,

ASM runtime detection and optimizations
I wrote a proof of concept regarding the cpu capabilities runtime detection and choice of optimized function. I follow design which had been discussed on IRC. Also, i notice a little drawback: we must propagate the arch index through functions which don't have codec state as argument. However, if it's look good, i will continue to implement it. [RFC PATCHv1] armv7: celt_pitch_xcorr: Introduce ARM neon intrinsics
Optimize celt_pitch_xcorr function (for floating point) using ARM NEON intrinsics for SoCs that have NEON VFP unit. As initial step, targeting ARMv7 NEON (VFP3+) based SoCs. To enable this optimization, use --enable-arm-neon-intrinsics configure option. This flag is not enabled by default. Compile time and runtime checks are also supported to make sure this optimization is only enabled when the

Visual Studio build of Opus-1.0.1-rc
Hi everone, I currently try to test the Opus codec. It seems, however, that it is more easy to do that in Linux. Nevertheless, I have compiled the sources in Visual Studio 2010. Here are some hints: 1) "static inline int function(...)" (combination of static and inline) does not work with Visual Studio 2010. I defined a macro which translates all "inline" to nothing. 2) I

exposing APIs needed by Chromium/WebRTC
Hello Opus community, I'd like to ask you for advice and recommendations. WebRTC uses Opus, and I noticed https://webrtc-codereview.appspot.com/5549004 started referring to currently internal Opus headers. This is possible because for Chromium the Opus sources are just checked in, so any header can be #included. I detected this when trying to package Chromium for Linux distributions with

Initial implementation of ch.mapping 253/3
Hello all, Attached is the initial proposed implementation for ch.mapping 253/3, based on the IETF proposal: https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-codec-ambisonics-03 A brief overview of the patch, as it is slightly lengthy: After discussion with Jean-Marc, we determined that ch.253/3 will need the demixing matrix as part of the encoder/decoder struct stack and thus will require a new

[Aarch64 v2 00/18] Patches to enable Aarch64 (version 2)
As promised, here's a re-send of all my Aarch64 patches, following comments by John Ridges. Note that they actually affect more than just Aarch64 -- other than the ones specifically guarded by AARCH64_NEON defines, the Neon intrinsics all also apply on armv7; and the OPUS_FAST_INT64 patches apply on any 64-bit machine. The patches should largely be independent and independently useful, other

QCONST16 cross compile inconsistency
Greetings, I have found that QCONST16(32.f, 10) yields different result (from gcc 4.4.7 ) when the code is compiled for TI C55 or C64 DSPs. gcc - result is 32767 TI compiler result is -32768 (C55 compiler version 4.4.1 and C6x compiler version 7.4.2) Although not in the current code, QCONST32(32.f, 26) results differ in similar fashion. Judging by the use #ifdef TI_C.. in the code base, these
