mjr to opus audio conversion - corrupted results
I would recommend filing a bug on the janus-gateway Github page or
otherwise getting support from Meetecho on this, as it looks like the
file format is specific to their software.

mjr to opus audio conversion - corrupted results
Hi Mark,
Well, so do you think that any of this libraries probably won't provide
correct audio conversion? Do you know any other possible solutions for
described problems, ommiting trying to fix on my own any of this libraries
or waiting for fix? Will you mind if I quote you in disscussion I
mentioned? Sorry for asking you so many questions at once.

mjr to opus audio conversion - corrupted results
Hi Mateusz,
It looks like the Janus code that writes Ogg Opus will not produce
correct Ogg Opus output when there are packets missing. You can quote
me or https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-codec-oggopus-08#section-4.1
if you wish. If you have another way to convert these files to Ogg
Opus or a way to write the Opus audio to webm instead then that might
be a workaround.

mjr to opus audio conversion - corrupted results
Hi Mateusz,
The Ogg Opus container does not have explicit per-packet timestamps,
and so doesn't allow gaps in the audio. PLC packets may be generated
to replace any packets that were lost or corrupted, as described in
section 4.1 of the specification:
https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-codec-oggopus-08#section-4.1
These packets usually consist of just a single TOC byte. It looks

live streaming
I just had two quick questions about opus. When using the encoder, how do I
use a live microphone as the source, and how do I stream the output to a
server? (Would it work with rtp, http, etc.?) Thanks! :)

Sometimes users can't connect to the samba shares
Hello,
Hope you can help us out with a problem with samba / winbind;
We have samba 3.0.21c with winbind running on an RHEL 4 server. This
runs quite stable for more than a year now.
But since the lasts weeks it appears that sometimes our users can't
connect to the samba shares.
I suspect that this problem has something to do with the integration of
samba (winbind) with the Microsoft

OggFLAC metadata support
Hello,
I'm currently using Liquidsoap to stream a group of files to Icecast.
The stream is sent to Icecast in a few different formats (MP3,HE-AAC
v2,OggFlac,OggOpus).
The "Current Song" metadata is correctly displayed for the MP3 and the AAC
stream, but not the OggFLAC or OggOpus stream.
I see a few entries in the Icecast forums, but it does look like FLAC
metadata support never

Hi,
I was asked to create a Queue which instead of playing MoH it generates
the ringing tone. I had a look around but could find anything, I would
welcome and help.

Samba/LDAP PDC problem
Hi
I want to run a Samba PDC with LDAP backend on a FreeBSD 6.2 for Sparc64.

The command line is: smbclient -L janus -Uadministrator%toto
The result is: session setup failed: Call returned zero bytes (EOF)
I've tested on 2 differents FreeBSD6.2 Sparc64, I have the

Vorbis encoding using JavaScript
Hello,
First of all, I am a complete newblet to anything dealing with audio (a lot
of the vocabulary is still rather mysterious to me). I also don't often
program in C so please don't throw too many stones if my workflow is less
than ideal. :)
I would like to port the vorbis encoder to JavaScript. Instead of porting
everything by hand from ground up, which would take who-knows-how-long,

Q2, Based on ARM9 CPU core, do you have any information to let me estimation the voice computing power for Speex codec?
Sorry to bother your job again....

Error: cannot route packet - please help
Hi,
I?m fighting with a silly problem: my syslog tells me tinc cannot route
a packet. I can use a telnet or the good ol ping, it is the same effect.
When I?m pinging from the laptop (172.16.11.2) the network address
(172.16.11.0) or any address numerically lower than the laptops address,
the packet gets routed, otherwise not. And when I ping the network
address, I get the reply twice, as to be
