Stereo voice not being retained
Hello, I've been using Opus on an STM32 M4 platform for speech coding in mono mode. I thought I'd try stereo for grins to see if I can handle the CPU load, and I'm getting a return code of -1 from opus_decode_float (using CBR and 40ms frames). Thanks. When you say that with fec enabled, the threshold is increased, do you mean the bitrate - i.e., you need higher bitrate with fec enabled to suppress crosstalk? Also, can you make any recommendations to decide whether to use fec or not? We are trying to tune the parameters appropriately. Audio quality and reduction of crosstalk are critical for us. Is the reason that we hear the crosstalk with fec and packet loss percentage>0 is that Opus uses information from the left channel to try to error correct the right channel and vice versa? Is it possible to record 2-4 party call audio in stereo quality as opposed to mono?
We have a customer who wants us to record anywhere from 2-4 participants on a call in stereo (as opposed to mono) quality audio. Some background.. Artifacts in One Channel of Stereo C55x Implementation
Hi guys, I am on a C55x stereo implementation of CELT 0.7.1; I am using 100 sample frame size and writing 58 Bytes per Packet. At the output of the decoder I see one channel reconstructed perfectly, but the other channel has random corruption that appears to be a sinusoid with a period of the frame size. joint stereo - advantages / when?

Looking at the Opus comparison page[1], I can't figure out whether the Opus/AAC/Vorbis/MP3 lines are meant to imply a mono or stereo encoding. Could someone please update the caption to clarify this? Force Opus/CELT to encode 2 mono instead of 1 stereo
Hi, folks, I have an old CELT thing that I'm updating to Opus and I'm trying to get individual pieces upgraded.  My first task is upgrading the CELT encoder to Opus. The old CELT thing treated the L and R channels as independent mono streams, encoded them somehow with CELT to form one bitstream, sent one bitstream across, and then unpacked it manually after the decoder.
