Hi Olly, I setup the environment for the golang branch and build it without problem. Cgo complain about the generated cc file and dosent regonize it as swig generated file... curious. There no more problem with the MSet and ESet and all class seem to be generated in Go correctly. I will try tomorrow to manually invoke swig over your .i file and see if the code is generated properly. The file

Can't access samba server from windows
Dear all, I've already install new samba 2.2.5 at Redhat 7.3. Some configuration of smb.conf has been tested using testparm and no error return. Using LinNeigborhood I can access some files and folders of windows PC. But from windows I can't access samba directories and files. Error report from windows is Network path was not found. Lan connection is ok if test ping. Can you suggest me

does Xapian::Enquire hold an MVCC revision?
In other words, is it possible to avoid duplicates if new documents are inserted into the DB by another process in-between ->get_mset calls when reusing Xapian::Enquire objects? I do some expensive processing on each mset window, so I always limit the results to limit heap usage even if I'm planning on going through a big chunk of the DB: $mset = $enq->get_mset(0, 1000);

Some questions about Letor project
Hi all, Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with Xapian :) I am Jiarong Wei, a third year undergraduate student in Zhejiang University, China. In GSoC 2014, I will work on Letor module with Hanxiao Sun. Here are some questions I encountered these days, 1. In letor.cc, we have two parts of functions: the training part and the ranking part. I?ll use SVMRanker as an example. The

Welcome to the "Xapian-discuss" mailing list
Please keep replies on the mailing list — more people can help (and benefit) that way :) So OP_NEAR looks for its terms close to each other (hence "near"). The window is how far away they can be. Probably the easiest way to play with this is using the NEAR syntax in the query parser. So if you had a plain text document: I am walking, always walking. And index it in a very simple

Using HASH() and REALTIME_HASH()
Hi, I'm playing around with asterisk 1.6.2.0 and the first try was to replace my now non-functionning 'app-realtime' macro which emulated RealTime with REALTIME_HASH() There is very few documentation on the subject except for this bug report: https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=13651#c94998 However when i try this syntax:

Pull requests: CJK words and Snippet generator
Hi, The Cyrus IMAP mail server uses Xapian as search engine. Recently, FastMail has sponsored implementation of two Xapian features: CJK word splitting and a generator for search snippets. I've been working on both features and we would be happy to get them merged into Xapian master. The CJK word tokenizer uses the word segmentation algorithms of the International Components for Unicode

Questions on converting to ConfBridge
I'm looking at what would be involved in converting from MeetMe to ConfBridge and there seems to be a lot of missing administrative things, but I hope I'm just missing it. We all know about the missing realtime linkage. That's a major nuisance, but can be worked around. More serious is that the CLI command to display users in a ConfBridge don't show the caller ID information, so

GSoC 2016 - Introduction
Hello, Thanks James for the reply. That cleared a few things out. Apologies for replying late because of exams going on. I was going through the previous clustering API to understand how it worked and it seems like the the approach for construction of the termlists which are used for distance metrics use TF-IDF weighting with cosine similarity, which is very similar to the approach I would need
