[PATCH] v2v: -o libvirt: fix <video> element (RHBZ#1225789)

Broken OS when booting rootfs from 9p share
Hello, I've been trying to boot a VM with the rootfs being a 9P share from the host. The VM OS is centos 7. The OS boots but no services can work and it appears that the authentication system is broken. Now the funny thing is that booting the same OS on the same 9P share manually with Qemu works as expected with a fully functionnal OS... So I'm wondering what could libvirt do that render

Problems with libvirt / qemu
HI, I have a small problem with libvirt / qemu. I have created a guest and when I start it from the command-line the guests starts OK, but when I start the guest through libvirt with "virsh start" I get "Booting from Hard Disk... Boot failed: not a bootable disk No bootable device" This is the command-line I use to start the guest (which works) "cd /var/lib/kvm/Wilmer;

Hi, Here is the XML file of the my VM: <!-- WARNING: THIS IS AN AUTO-GENERATED FILE. CHANGES TO IT ARE LIKELY TO BE OVERWRITTEN AND LOST. using RBD with libvirt 0.9.13
I'm having some trouble creating KVM domains with RBD block devices using virsh. I've managed to get virsh to define the domain, but it gives an error when trying to start the domain: error: Failed to start domain test0 error: internal error process exited while connecting to monitor: char device redirected to /dev/pts/3 kvm: -drive

which is the config file for a vm ?
Hi, i have a weird problem. I have a vm (KVM) which seems to run fine. I believe the respective config file for this vm is /etc/libvirt/qemu/MausDB.xml. This is it: ========================================================= <domain type='kvm'> <name>MausDB</name> <uuid>d4c7956c-b57f-967a-0454-99835a3a740b</uuid> <memory

Bug in VNC QEMU?
Hi all! Recently I found some problems after upgrading one of our virtual machines from ubuntu 10.10. to later releases. Root problem is inactive VNC terminal after booting grub. It happens because of using framebuffer at boot process. To fix this problem you should change at /etc/default/grub: GRUB_TERMINAL=console And run # update-grub # reboot This fixes problem. But I think there should

Help? Running into problems with migrateToURI2() and virDomainDefCheckABIStability()
Hi, We've run into a problem with libvirt 1.1.2 and are looking for some comments on whether this is a bug or design intent. We're trying to use migrateToURI() but we're using a few things (numatune, vcpu mask, etc.) that may need adjustment during the migration. We found that migrateToURI2() mostly works if we use XML created by copying the domain XML from the running instance

Re: Windows Server 2008 - KVM
Hi there! Although the guest has 2GB memory, the windows guest was adjusted to support this. I guess that the LVM is the best choice! I will save all images to other disk and re-build the partition with LVM. Do you recomend to use ext4 or zfs ? - About the apparmor, I have my doubts, I will try to disable and see what will happen! - About the tablet input device, I removed! Some forums say that
