Re: [libvirt] Python-libvirt in a virtual environment.
@Michel using virtualenv we can create an isolated environment in the system. Just go through - http://docs.python-guide.org/en/latest/dev/virtualenvs/ @Eric I'm using Ubuntu, and I was able to install and use libvirt using sudo apt-get install python-libvirt but its not available in tg2 virtual environment. Moreover if you try to install in the virtualenv using the sudo apt-get install

live migration to localhost with lvm based storage
I have lvm based (thin pool) storage on local disks. I need to move vps from one vg on one disk to another. Does it possible to migrate to localhost with blockcopy migration to another vg? I'm understand that i can move lv from one vg to another, but i don't need that. -- Vasiliy Tolstov, e-mail: v.tolstov@selfip.ru jabber: vase@selfip.ru

Re: [libvirt] Host OS, Storage Info
Martin, et al, Sorry for the lag in response. So I started playing with the various virsh commands. Awesome. Been doing some reading and I believe I have some things configured not so well. As I stated earlier in the thread, we have all of the VM image files on one RAID5. Very fast machine. When using top, the load average is a stable "5.xx". No I/O wait. GB's of free memory.

Hi! Report from my multipath tests today. My test virtual machine, that runs from an NPIV pool, is not able to use multipath. When I pulled the cable from one of the targets, it crashed. But, strangely, it could boot up again on that other path, that it just crashed on. That tells me it can use both paths, and is not limited to one of them only, but because the multipath layer isn't
