Multiple resource definition error
Hi,
So, I am writing a module to install and configure ucarp. There is only
one module in puppet forge and that is not that good.
In ucarp, same configuration files have to be served on two servers and
to configure the host I am defining a custom resource
ucarp::host::config. So, for using, I''ll have to create this resource
two times on two different servers. So, this resource

Rails plugins new official maintainers
Hey guys,
This is the final list of the new maintainers of each plugin.
We need two more things to do:
First please the owners of the repos add the rest of the maintainers.
Second I will add a note on each rails/plugin mentioning this repos updates.
So from now on, if someone else is interested in helping/contributing
please send a message to the appropriate repo owner.

concurrent migration of several domains rarely fails
Hi,
i have a two-node cluster with several domains as resources. During testing i tried several times to migrate some domains concurrently.
Usually it suceeded, but rarely it failed. I found one clue in the log:

Virsh command hanging
Hi,
I started the VMs with libvirt 3 days ago (17th Feb). Now when I am trying to shutdown the domain, all my virsh command is hanging even virt-manager remains in "connecting.." mode and is not showing active domains. When I set the libvirt debug env and call "virsh list" it hangs in poll. Here is the logsetenv LIBVIRT_DEBUG 1 virsh list

keepalive parameter on 2.0.4b
The default for the keepalive param in 2.0.4b is 300 although the docs. suggest
that the default is 0. Does anyone know why the default changed?
I need to change the keepalive value to 0 as I have some users connecting via
isdn and this keepalive setting will initiate an undesired phone call.
I have 100+ users on the local LAN connecting to samba on HP-UX 11 and have not
experience any problems

[libvirt-1.3.2]'Disconnected from qemu:///session due to I/O error'
Hi.
Since the update to libvirt-1.3.2, virsh keeps disconnecting from qemu:///session.
Weirdly enough, qemu:///session works fine for root, and qemu:///system works for both the user and the root.
With the same configuration(tarball with files from /etc/libvirt attached), libvirt-1.3.1 works without problems.
From the virsh debug log(attached):

[PATCH] Added Null packet keepalive option
I have attached a patch which adds null packet keepalive
functionality to the client. This patch is made against the
current CVS tree as of 3/14/01.
Please consider this patch for inclusion in the OpenSSH main tree.
This patch is based upon and includes code from the Chris Lightfoot
(chris at ex-parrot.com) patch posted 2/23.
The original patch from Chris is at:

KeepAlive/ClientAliveInterval not working? Idle timeout.
I have set /etc/ssh/sshd_config with:
KeepAlive yes
ClientAliveInterval 3
However, no KeepAlive type messages seem to be sent. I've verified this
by looking at the network lights, which don't flicker every 3 seconds.
I am attempting to keep interactive ssh sessions alive longer. If
don't type anything for about 2 minutes, the sessions close. If I run a

Dovecot 2 and TCP-Keepalive
Hi!
I am about to migrate a perdition-based IMAP/POP3 proxy to Dovecot.
Unfortunately some users are behind a firewall/NAT setup which throws
away seemingly idle TCP connections sooner than the established default
of 24 hours (more likely after 30 minutes ...) resulting in all kinds of
weird client behavior.
And unfortunately? this firewall/NAT setup is outside of my control and

deadtime/keepalive not working as expected
My expectations are probably wrong, but I had to manually kill a process
to unlock a file when I think it should have killed itself.
I have deadtime set to 15 and keepalive at default (300). I opened a file on
my server in Excel, then shut down the machine. Hours later someone
tells me the file is locked.
Shouldn't keepalive have detected that the machine was off in 5 minutes?
