Re: TLS and intermediate CA
Thanks for the response. My current chain is as follows: caroot -> child-ca1 -> server cert My cacert.pem file has both the caroot and the child-ca1 certs. I have recompiled libvirt on my machine with some extra debug statements and verified that both the caroot cert and the child-ca1 certs are being loaded. But when I try to connect the caroot and child-ca1 certs only appear under the

[Fwd: Re: OpenSSH and X.509 Certificate Support]
Hi Roumen, I discovered that the need of appending the .pub part of id_rsa(client key+cert) on the server can be eliminated by adding the Certificate Blob to authorized_keys which could look something like this: x509v3-sign-rsa subject= /C=FR/ST=PARIS/L=DESEl/O=SSL/OU=VLSI/CN=10.244.82.83/emailAddress=client at company.com This is extracted from the client certificate using openssl as

TLS and intermediate CA
I have been trying to get set of libvirtd system up and running. My PKI infrastructure involves a root CA and several intermediate CAs. I am trying to get the machines to trust each other across the different intermediate CAs. This is what I have so far: Libvirtd is starting and listening on tls port 16514 I have configured client/server certs/keys and it seems to be using all of these

Music on Hold
Hi, I have trouble getting MOH to work after an upgrade from asterisk 1.4 to 1.6.1.4. The call goes on hold, MOH is started, and then stops right away. Here are the files both of type .raw: Tsunami*CLI> moh show files Class: default File: /etc/asterisk/musiconhold/Fr?d?ric Chopin - Polonaises Op. 40-2 File: /etc/asterisk/musiconhold/Fr?d?ric Chopin - Polonaises Op. 40-1 These files

Asterisk extension not found problem...
Hi All, I am using Asterisk for one of my projects in OpenBTS. I am having the age old problem of "extension not found" when try to make a call from one registered SIP phone to other registered SIP phone (two mobile phones connected to Asterisk via OpenBTS). The exact error thrown on Asterisk CLI is *"chan_sip.c:20039 handle_request_invite: Call from [IMSI310410270465840] to

certdnsnames question
Hi All Apologies if this is obvious, but I''m a bit flaky around SSL certificates. NB puppet version 0.25.5 We use the brilliant feature of certificates where you can have Alternate DNS names for a certificate which is manifested in the puppet master config file as certdnsnames. All our clients connect to puppet-$ location.example.com, and if $location is down, we can point the CNAME to

self Certificate Authority, using /etc/pki/tls/misc/CA
Hello all, lately i am facing problems with Certification Authorities. I have used centos script /etc/pki/tls/misc/CA my own certificate authority. In next steps i am generating requests for certificates to services such as LDAP,NNRPD and lately signing requests with CA. My approach is to import my own CA into Windows Vista OS as root CA and trusted, to avoid messages in clients such as

Certificate Authority-signed certs in dovecot?
Hi! Sorry if this has been covered. I've just started using dovecot and I've searched via google and I've downloaded the maillist archives, but I haven't found a solution. I'm using Fedora Core 1, with dovecot-0.99.10-6. When I'm at work, I access my home mail server using Outlook Express (I know, I know, but it's the only client I'm allowed to use at work).

Local delivery via deliver fails for 1 user in alias
Hi all, I'm a bit baffled. I have an OS X server 10.6.8 and everything was working fine. Now however I seem to be having some issues and I'm unable to find log entries to help point me to the error. I have an alias, sales at cirrusav.com, which forwards mail to myself and two others. This works fine most of the time, but on occasion messages are not delivered to one user. It is possible

Hi All I have been struggling with this model for some time now and I just can't get it to work correctly. The messages I get when running the code is: DLSODA- Warning..Internal T (=R1) and H (=R2) are such that in the machine, T + H = T on the next step (H = step size). Solver will continue anyway. In above message, R = [1] 0 0 DINTDY- T (=R1) illegal In above message, R = [1]

passing "..." arguments to (plot.ca)
I am hoping someone can give me a couple of pointers on how to pass arguments using "..."--in this specific case in an attempt to plot an object created by ca(), a tool for correspondence analysis. #some illustrative code library(ca) set.seed(123) dat1 <- data.frame(matrix(ceiling(runif(30, 1, 100)), nc=5)) #some fake data ca1 <- ca(dat1) #the correspondence analysis plot(ca1)
