That's a really old QEMU and the libvirt you're using is relatively
newer.

Libvirt
Dear Sir,
I am facing the same problem you were discussing here:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/libvirt-users/2015-January/msg00070.html
I am getting this error:
Starting install...
ERROR internal error: unable to execute QEMU command 'qom-list': The

I want a Fedora 20 system to be a member server and offer a share in a Windows 2008R2 Active Directory domain
I'm close to making this work. The goal is to make this Fedora 20 system pretend to be a Windows member server in my Windows 2008R2 Active Directory domain and then I'll use it as a backup target. When I run ADUC from my domain controller, I see my F20 system named nfsa. But from Windows, when I do Start...\\nfsa, I get an Access Denied error and it prompts for credentials. When I do

R 3.1 breaks RStudio in Fedora 20?
Hi All
I just installed R 3.1 on fedora 20 after removing rstudio
# rpm -q R
R-3.1.0-5.fc20.x86_64
after I removed rstudio (I don't use it that much but need it for teaching)
I tried to reinstall rstudio but its missing libRblas.so and libRlapack.so
dependencies
I'm guessed it would be OK to force it because lapack-devel and blas-devel
are installed so I tried
# rpm -ivh --no-deps

rpmbuild annoyance
I'm building a package (rasmol, if you must know) from an srpm. It's an
FC20 pkg, nothing older, but the software itself hasn't changed. So... I
try the build, and it fails, telling me:
gcc: %__global_ldflags: No such file or directory
make: *** [rasmol] Error 1
Now, this isn't a brand-new package, so I'm puzzled by the error. Is there
supposed to be something I need to add to

You can get that, as well as most deps from nux-dextop:

Unable to build DAHDI-Linux in mock chroot
Unfortunately, after
http://git.asterisk.org/gitweb/?p=dahdi/linux.git;a=commitdiff;h=6cebc1c1fb12cc0661f3810ef47ad33206b2e398
I am unable to build DAHDI-Linux in a mock chroot for packaging purposes. I
believe this is related to the Makefile calling install_firmware with only 2
args, where install_firmware is a shell script with DESTDIR set to $3, which
is empty.
In this case, the DESTDIR

pop3 problem with small messages with no Subject: and no To: headers
Hello,
Seeing a strange thing with dovecot 1.0 b7 pop3.
If a user gets a particular _very_ short spam message (not sure what
virus makes these..), with NO Subject and NO To: headers and NO body,
(example available upon request), the user is unable to download the
mail. The log entry is:
May 10 10:51:35 mail dovecot: POP3(user): Disconnected top=0/0,

Linux host / Windows guest sharing
Hi,
I'm almost give up again because for a day I try to access my windows
kvm guest from FC20 :)
I've tried everything including virtio mapping
mount -t 9p -o trans=virtio,version=9p2000.L hostshare /tmp/hostfiles
where I get the following messages
mount: special device hostshare does not exist

to be honest clipboard sharing would be enough for me, so I googled
why it is not

Re: [virt-tools-list] Linux host / Windows guest sharing
Thank you. It is clear now, so it was user error and I should read more
documentation :)
Unfortunately drag and drop isn't working. Is there any prerequisite?
My host is FC20 and guest is Win2k8 server
Thank you

[LLVMdev] LLVM: how are pre-built binaries at http://llvm.org/releases/ built?
Hi,
I find the pre-built binaries at http://llvm.org/releases very useful.
Is there a script available anywhere that does the build, so that I can
get a binary built in the very same way, but for a platform not
included? (I would like llvm+clang for FC20, something like
http://llvm.org/releases/3.6.1/clang+llvm-3.6.1-x86_64-fedora21.tar.xz
but for FC20)
Thanks!

Tripp-Lite USB constantlly disconnecting.
Charles,
So I installed a minimal CentOS 6.5 installation on the Fedora box this
morning and I got the same issue.
Below are the kernel versions used.
CentOS 6.5 Minimal -

OOPS in hvc / virtconsole
I'm running a Fedora distro kernel (3.13.7-200.fc20.x86_64) in kvm
with these options:
-chardev null,id=hvc0,signal=off
-device virtio-serial-pci
-device virtconsole,chardev=hvc0,name=virtme_console
-append console=hvc0 console=ttyS0
-nographic
(There are more, but these are the interesting ones, I think.)
Note that virtio_console is modular, which might be a problem.
It blows up like
