[libvirt] LXC, user namespaces and systemd
Hi!
I with my colleagues from Samsung trying to run systemd in Linux
container. I saw that the others are experimenting in this topic,
so I would like to present the results of my work and tests, perhaps it
will be helpful to others.
As the prototype I used a manual written by Daniel:

How can I have more than one console/terminal windows when connecting to lxc
Dear all,
I use virsh command to start a container and connect to it.
When I use virsh -c lxc:/// console mycontainer, I only have one console. I wonder how to open multiple terminal windows for the same container.
Thank you in advance

Getting IP address of a lxc container via libvirt
Hello
I wanted to understand if there is a way to get LXC container's ip address.
- virDomainInterfaceAddresses API only works for qemu/kvm and not with the
lxc driver.
What other options do I have?
Using enter-lxc-namespace is throwing this error:
virsh -c lxc:/// lxc-enter-namespace <domain> --noseclabel /sbin/ifconfig
libvirt: error : Expected at least one file descriptor

I prepared two containers, the first I used chown, in the second
uidmapshift, here is the results.
./uidmapshift -r

'puppet storeconfigs export' killed
Hi,
I currently have a MySQL database containing all Puppet storeconfigs. My
intention is to migrate to PuppetDB on a PostgreSQL server, so the first
step is to use the ''storeconfigs'' face to export all the DB to a file
PuppetDB can later consume. But the ''puppet storeconfigs export'' command
always ends up being killed, I suspect due to some sort of OOM

Unable to provision VM attaching it directly to a OVS bridge
Reposting from virt-tools mailing list:
Hi!
I'm facing a problem that could be triggered by some lacking
of support from libvirt on Open vSwitch (or could be my mistake).
I have interests in researching on virtual networks and
SDN. To keep things simple, I've decided to use libvirt/virt-tools to
manage VM's since my focus is on the network, instead of using a
full feature system

Double fault panic in L2 upon v2v conversion
Hi everybody,
Wanted to hear your opinion and to receive a smart advice.
I'm trying to use virt-v2v in order to convert ova image (exported from
vcenter) to run on libvirt/kvm - all this inside a VM of fedora.
The converted image is also a fedora.
During the conversion process, in some point of libguestfs activity, I get
double fault panic from L2 (printed as part of libguest output) and the

Getting ERROR: parsing the volfile failed (No such file or directory) when starting glusterd on Fedora 19
I don't get this. I am using a freshly installed copy of Fedora 19 and starting up glusterd for the first time. The goal is to have a replicated directory on two systems. But for right now, I can't even start up the glusterd daemon right out of the box.
Trying to follow the Quick Start directions at http://gluster.org/community/documentation/index.php/QuickStart is, well, challenging.

Another week, another experiment ;) I was trying to run systemd user

Re: How can a user process be automatically started after the container is started?
Dear Daniel,
You said "use a real init system like systemd to spawn off the things", do you mean a full OS distro container?
I installed the container using "yum --installroot=/root/fedora19lxc --releasever=19 install -y openssh, bridge-utils" which is described at https://www.redhat.com/archives/libvirt-users/2013-August/msg00007.html.
I don't know how to make systemd

libvirt-1.2.17 I can't define lxc container
Hello!
I'd like to set up my first lxc container using libvirt. I'd like to
start using the simplest configuration and next add things I need. So
I've got xml as below:
<domain type='lxc'>
<name>vm1</name>
<memory>32768</memory>
<os>
<type>exe</type>
<init>/init</init>
