[PATCH 0/4] sysprep: add FreeIPA offline unenrollment (RHBZ#1789592)
This patch series adds a new virt-sysprep operation to offline unenroll
a guest from FreeIPA. It does so by removing some configuration files
and certificates.
It requires a change in libguestfs-common before the series is applied.

[PATCH 0/5] use augeas for /etc/shadow
Hi,
currently /etc/shadow is edited manually when needed (i.e. when setting
the password for an user), and it is not changed when removing users.
Import the upstream shadow.aug (currently in their development serie,
but not part of any released version yet), and use it only when the
augeas version is less than a potential 1.2.1 (covering also the case
when the new version is just 1.3.0).

[PATCH] sysprep: user-account: mark "changed file" if users were removed

[PATCH RFC] sysprep: remove user accounts
Hi Rich,
This patch attends to remove the user accounts in the guest,
I send this out to request your comments, if the concept
is correct and you can point out some syntax error for me.
Thanks a lot,
Wanlong Gao

Backing Up To Windows File Server
Greetings,
Working with dsync and setting up backups to a Windows file server.
Problem seems to be that Windows is renaming the dovecot mail files
(maildir) to Windows friendly filenames, and losing the Dovecot name.
For example,
1323817925.M36368P32049.triata.globalchangemultimedia.net,S=2255,W=2318:2,S
becomes 1AETPH~X.
Does anyone have any ideas about how to tell Windows to not do this?

[PATCH 0/4 v1] Remove gettextify, implement OCaml gettext.
Version 1 of the patch, for discussion, but not to be applied. It
does work, but needs a lot more testing.
This removes all the psychopathic gettextify cruft, and replaces it
with a 99 line Makefile.am. A large win, I think.
The third patch implements gettext support in the OCaml tools.
The fourth patch is just for illustration. It shows the consequent
changes to libguestfs.pot and the po

MAC policies and shared hosting
Hello,
I've been looking at the different MAC modules available and how they
cold help to implement a less insecure than usual shared hosting web
server.
I've not been able to come up with a suitable configuration, looking
at mac_bsdextended, mac_biba and mac_mls, but I think that a MAC
module with the following policies could be very useful for such an
environment. Have I

[PATCH 00/67] Proposed patches for libguestfs 1.22.6.
In the kernel and qemu communities it is routine for patches that will
be backported to stable branches to be posted for review. I'm
proposing we do the same for libguestfs stable branches.
All of the attached have been tested with 'make check-release'.

Home directories
I've noticed that a lot of people are using e.g.:
mail_location = maildir:/var/vmail/%d/%n
Then either they don't have home directory set, or their home directory
is the same as the maildir. http://wiki.dovecot.org/VirtualUsers/Home
explains all the problems of not separate home and mail directories.
Also whenever I try to suggest using a separate home and mail directory,

[PATCH (incomplete)] Rewrite virt-sysprep in OCaml.
This patch is incomplete but it illustrates the idea. virt-sysprep is
rewritten as a modular tool in OCaml.
Only the 'utmp' and 'hostname' operations are implemented at the
moment.
Rich.
