[LLVMdev] build failure in llvm revision69440
hi, I am getting following compilation error while compiling llvm. I installed the missing libs. using my package manager (and there are in /usr/loca/lib path). Any clue to fix the problem. Thanks! /home/rajika/projects/llvm/llvm-objects/Debug/bin/tblgen: error while loading shared libraries: libffi.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory make[1]: ***

[OT] emacs / xemacs for unix without compile
Dear All, Is there a emacs/xemacs for unix without compiling it? If it is possible, I prefer something that I can use immediately after putting it on the unix server. Is it possible or am I too stupid to ask this kind of question? Thanks for your insight! -- =============================== WenSui Liu ChoicePoint Precision Marketing Phone: 678-893-9457 Email : wensui.liu at choicepoint.com Blog

Samba 4.1.6 on Ubuntu for IBM Power 8 has a bug?
I'm running Samba 4.1.6 with Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS Little Endian on a Power 8 box. As I said in a previous post, I can't mount any share from machine. I tried the same configuration with Samba 4.1.11 on Ubuntu 14.10 Little Endian on Power 8, and it works fine. I'm probabily wrong, but is there a bug in the binary distribution of Samba on Ubuntu 14.04.01 Little Endian, maybe

zfs performance on fuse (Linux) compared to other fs
Hi, ok I know zfs-fuse is still incomplete and performance has not been considered, but still, before I''m going to use it for my /home I wanted a rough estimate. Another benchmark already asserted that zfs by itself, on Solaris, is a very fast beast (http://cmynhier.blogspot.com/2006/05/zfs-benchmarking.html), faster than ext3 on Linux and also faster than UFS. Interestingly UFS seems

[LLVMdev] [Minix-office] Re: Minix support in googletest
All, Jay - and Kees -, thank you for notifying us of this move. Yes, as Kees wrote we certainly are using llvm/gtest, but are prepared to submit our changes to gtest directly if they haven't taken them yet. I'll take it up with my GSOC student, who is working on submitting many other minix-specific patches to maintainers of packages in our third-party package repository. =Ben

Dear all, I hope this is the right list :). I'd like to submit the attached patch for committing. The attached patch are the only required changes to make the latest compiler-rt build and pass tests (except for 2 currently ignored tests..) on Minix. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
