[libvirt] LXC, user namespaces and systemd
Hi!
I with my colleagues from Samsung trying to run systemd in Linux
container. I saw that the others are experimenting in this topic,
so I would like to present the results of my work and tests, perhaps it
will be helpful to others.
As the prototype I used a manual written by Daniel:

Double fault panic in L2 upon v2v conversion
Hi everybody,
Wanted to hear your opinion and to receive a smart advice.
I'm trying to use virt-v2v in order to convert ova image (exported from
vcenter) to run on libvirt/kvm - all this inside a VM of fedora.
The converted image is also a fedora.
During the conversion process, in some point of libguestfs activity, I get
double fault panic from L2 (printed as part of libguest output) and the

[W/ commit: 838a3c9] "inconsistent assumptions over interface Guestfs"
Just did a git pull to the below commit (to get the latest version
1.25.37) and did a local build, this is what I see:
Error: The files ../ocaml/guestfs.cmi and perl_edit.cmi
make inconsistent assumptions over interface Guestfs
Haven't investigated further, thought I'd post it here first:
$ git rev-parse --short HEAD

unable to dissect libvirt rpc packets using wireshark plugin
Hi,
I am trying libvirt plugin in wireshark to dissect RPC payload in TCP, but
finding dissector code not really working.
My env is Fedora core 21 (x86_64) and installed packages are as follow:
wireshark-1.12.6-1.fc21.x86_64
libvirt-wireshark-1.2.9.3-2.fc21.x86_64
Earlier, just after installation, I noticed libvirt.so available only in
/usr/lib64/wireshark/plugins/1.12.5/ . Wireshark

gdbserver will end up debugging the qemu process, not the guest
inside. This is not useful.
You need to do something like:
exec /usr/libexec/qemu-kvm -s

IIUC, this is no longer needed with systemd 209 and above. I just did a
quick test[1] with
systemd-210-2.fc21.x86_64

Re: unable to dissect libvirt rpc packets using wireshark plugin
Hi Michal,
Thank you for your suggestion. My apologies that I took sometime to get back
on further confirmation. Regrettably, my tshark is still unable to find
libvirt payload
inside packet capture, though it lists libvirt as a possible filter.
# rpm -ql libvirt-wireshark-1.2.9.3-2.fc21.x86_64
/usr/lib64/wireshark/plugins/1.12.5/libvirt.so
As I used wireshark 1.12.6 version, I
