[PATCH INCOMPLETE] Rewrite virt-make-fs in C (originally Perl).
It should be very compatible with the Perl version.

[PATCH v2] Add tune2fs command.
The changes since the previous patch:
- safe ADD_ARG macro for adding arguments to a fixed size stack array
- support for testing functions that return RHashtable, ie. tune2fs-l.
- add tests that set (tune2fs) and get (tune2fs-l) various parameters.
- only one 'intervalbetweenchecks' parameter (in seconds)

[PATCH libnbd 1/2] lib: Avoid killing subprocess twice.
If the user calls nbd_kill_subprocess, we shouldn't kill the process
again when we close the handle (since the process has likely gone and
we might be killing a different process).

[PATCH nbdkit] server: public: Add nbdkit_parse_* functions for safely parsing integers.
sscanf is sadly not safe (because it doesn't handle integer overflow
correctly), and strto*l functions are a pain to use correctly.
Therefore add some functions to hide the pain of parsing integers from
the command line.
The simpler uses of sscanf and strto*l are replaced. There are still
a few where we are using advanced features of sscanf.

[PATCH 00/13] code refactorings for tools
Hi,
this series does a couple of code reorganizations/refactoring in code
used by tools: the windows path handling code, and the two types of
file editing (using editor, and using perl expression).
There's still a code duplication between the two variants of file
editing, but it is just within a single source, and can be easily
solved now (planning as next step).

[PATCH 0/5] Various fixes for virt-make-fs.
The main one is that it now estimates btrfs overhead more accurately,
allowing it to construct btrfs images. See:

[PATCH 0/1] virt-make-fs: add '--blocksize' option support
From: Nikolay Ivanets <stenavin@gmail.com>
This patch adds 4096 bytes sector size for output disk.
Side notes:
While working on this patch I reveal long standing issue: virt-make-fs can fail
if source directory/archive contains certain amount of really small or empty
files or wide tree of directories. That is because of lack of available inodes
on a small file system to keep files

[PATCH 00/10] New API: disk-create for creating blank disks.
A lot of code runs 'qemu-img create' or 'truncate' to create blank
disk images.
In the past I resisted adding an API to do this, since it essentially
duplicates what you can already do using other tools (ie. qemu-img).
However this does simplify calling code quite a lot since qemu-img is
somewhat error-prone to use (eg: don't try to create a disk called
"foo:bar")

[PATCH nbdkit v2] curl: Implement header and cookie scripts.
Evolution of this patch series:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2020-July/thread.html#00073
Instead of auth-script, this implements header-script and
cookie-script. It can be used for similar purposes but the
implementation is somewhat saner.

[PATCH 1/3] builder: make the C index parser reentrant
Switch the lex/yacc parser into reentrant mode, to ease the handling of
parsing-specific data; introduce a new parser_context struct for that,
which is added as extra data to the parser.
This should cause no behaviour changes in the parsing, just no more
global variables used for getting data in/out the parser.

[PATCH libnbd v2 0/2] Implement systemd socket activation.
v1 was posted here:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2019-September/thread.html#00337
v2:
- Drop the first patch.
- Hopefully fix the multiple issues with fork-safety and general
behaviour on error paths.
Note this requires execvpe for which there seems to be no equivalent
on FreeBSD, except some kind of tedious path parsing (but can we
assign to environ?)

[PATCH libnbd] interop: Add test of qemu-storage-daemon.
This commit adds a simple test of qemu-storage-daemon (QSD). On the
basis that QSD is just qemu-nbd in new clothes this is only a simple
test, not complete coverage. Nor does it test the unique features of
QSD like being able to use QMP to create new server instances.
Unfortunately QSD is not yet stable upstream. This version works with
qemu 5.1.0 but at least two of the command line

[PATCH v2 00/11] btrfs support part2: qgroup/quota commands
Hi,
This is v2 series to add support to btrfs qgroup related commands, inclduing
quota commands, and two leftover of subvolume commands.
Regards,
Hu
changes:
v2:
- add tests for new APIs
- combine btrfs_quota_enable and btrfs_quota_disable
- following APIs changed to operate on Mountable_or_Path:
btrfs_subvolume_get_default, btrfs_quota_enable, btrfs_quota_rescan.

[PATCH libnbd 0/5] interop: Check that LIBNBD_TLS_ALLOW works against nbdkit.
I was a little surprised to find that LIBNBD_TLS_ALLOW worked out of
the box, so I had to examine the logs whereupon I saw the magic
message ...
libnbd: debug: nbd1: nbd_connect_command: server refused TLS (policy), continuing with unencrypted connection
I don't believe this path has ever been tested before.
It's possible the tests could be improved if they actually checked for

[libnbd PATCH v3 0/2] Implementing NBD_OPT_LIST
This is a subset of my v2 posting, but limited to just the
NBD_OPT_LIST handling. The biggest change since v2 is the addition of
added unit testing in all four language bindings (C, python, ocaml,
golang). The tests require nbdkit built from git on PATH, and may not
be entirely idiomatic, but I at least validated that they catch issues
(for example, adding an exit statement near the end of the

[PATCH nbdkit 0/4] Add truncate and map filters.
This patch series proposes two new filters.
* truncate: This can truncate, extend, round up or round down the size
of a plugin/device. A typical usage is to fix the qemu problem that
it can only handle devices which are a multiple of 512-bytes:
nbdkit --filter=truncate random size=500 round-up=512
This will serve a virtual device with size 512 bytes. Reading from
the last 12 bytes will

[PATCH libnbd 0/2] Change qemu-nbd interop tests to use socket activation.
Now that we have implemented systemd socket activation, we can use
this to run qemu-nbd in tests.
The first patch leaves some dead code around (the -DSERVE_OVER_TCP=1
path). It's possible we might want to use this to test against a
putative future NBD server that only supports TCP, but on the other
hand maybe we should just remove it.
Tests & valgrind still pass for me.
Rich.
