I didn't see anything about those functions being "deprecated". What did
I miss?

[PATCH hivex] maint: split long lines
Hi Rich,
I find it more readable (and safer to review) to avoid lines
longer than 80 columns. When reviewing changes that wrap,
I've noticed that it is harder to spot certain types of mistakes
in the wrapped portion of a long line.

[hivex] [PATCH 1/2] hivex: Expose hive major and minor version
The major and minor version were being reported in a debug message.
This patch adds the version information to the ABI and reports with

Measuring and comparing .C and .Call overhead
Further pursuing my curiosity to measure the efficiency of R/C++ interface, I
conducted a simple matrix-vector multiplication test using .C and .Call
functions in R. In each case, I measured the execution time in R, as well as
inside the C++ function. Subtracting the two, I came up with a measure of
overhead associated with each call. I assume that this overhead would be
non-existent of the entire

"this" variables being overridden?
Hi
I encountered this problem a few times in the past, but only now it is
consistent enough so I can write this email. In short, the problem is
that after I copy some structure from the profiled program to the dtrace
space, and set a "this-dataP" variable to point to the local copy, after
a while some of the fields of the local structure are overridden with
junk values. In

[PATCH 1/2] Add type checking, support integers as value
Before this patch, Python would segfault once you pass a non-string key
or value to node_set_value. It was also not possible to set bytes on
Python 3 as Unicode was assumed (Python 2 was not affected by this).
This patch fixes recognition of bytes for Python 3, but in addition it
recognizes ints (includes 'long' in Python 2) for DWORD (LE + BE) and
QWORDs. For this purpose, a new field

Samba logoff script
Hello
Is it possible to create a samba logoff script. I currently use netlogon for
a logonscript. I also want a logoff scipt to allow me to back certain files
up once a user logs off.
Is this possible? If so how?

Powercool PCRACK-1200VA patch update
Sorry about the noise guys.
Below a significantly improved patch.
The main difference is that all calls to usb_get_string_.. have been
wrapped in a new function nut_usb_get_string() that is implemented in
libusb.c
This was necessary in order to make the bufflen_fix available in
libusb.c where usb_get_string() is called in libusb_open()
This wrapper function mops up and hides all the work

[hivex] Segfault for an integer value to node_set_value
Hi,
When an integer argument is passed as value, node_set_value
segfaults. Reproducer is at the end of this message
The backtrace points at hivex-py.c, function get_value. While obj
is non-NULL, `bytes = PyUnicode_AsUTF8String (obj);` returns NULL.
Kind regards,
Peter

[libnbd PATCH v2 2/5] generator: Refactor filtering of accepted OFlags
Rather than having to open-code the list of accepted command flags in
the unlocked version of each command, we can store that information in
the generator to produce the check directly in the public API.

[PATCH 0/4] Add hivex APIs into the libguestfs API (RHBZ#852394)
This adds most of the hivex APIs directly to the libguestfs API, so
that you can read and write Windows Registry hive files from
libguestfs without needing to download and upload hive files from the
guest.
This is analogous to how Augeas APIs are exposed already
(guestfs_aug_*)
Also, inspection is now done using the new APIs, which fixes the
following bug:

[RFC v7 03/11] drm/vblank: Add vblank works
Add some kind of vblank workers. The interface is similar to regular
delayed works, and is mostly based off kthread_work. It allows for
scheduling delayed works that execute once a particular vblank sequence
has passed. It also allows for accurate flushing of scheduled vblank
works - in that flushing waits for both the vblank sequence and job
execution to complete, or for the work to get cancelled
