Undiserable kernel upgrade in Ubuntu
Hi, I''ve defined this module:
package {[''build-essential'', "linux-headers-${kernelrelease}", ''dkms'',
''linux-headers-server'']:
ensure => installed,
}
and when the package linux-headers-server it''s upgraded in the repositories
puppet tries to upgrade in client too. And as that package has a dependency

OpenSSH_2.5.1p2 hang on log out due to unclosed file handles in forked process
OpenSSH folks,
We're run into a problem with OpenSSH_2.5.1p2 servers that
we didn't see before, and I can't reproduce with OpenSSH_2.3.0p1
servers. (OpenSSH_2.3.0p1 seems to work correctly)
We're seeing this bug on Solaris 2.7 and on Linux 2.2.15 machines.
Basically, if you log into a machine, fork a process that leaves
stdout, stderr, or stdin open, and try to log out of that

# Length of original data
length(data[,4])
5 RIGHT!!
# Length of new data

lme: null deviance, deviance due to the random effects, residual deviance
A maybe trivial and stupid question:
In the case of a lm or glm fit, it is quite informative (to me) to have
a look to the null deviance and the residual deviance of a model. This
is generally provided in the print method or the summary, eg:
Null Deviance: 658.8
Residual Deviance: 507.3
and (a bit simpled minded) I like to think that the proportion of
deviance 'explained' by the

Medidas Repetidas

Is it possible to conditionally replace a file ?
As far as I can tell, the "replace" parameter is all or nothing.
What I am looking for is something like the exec/onlyif parameter that I can use to conditionally replace a file.
Any thoughts ?

Warnings en GLMM (lme4)
Hola,
Soy nuevo manejando R y no tengo mucha experiencia.

Package lattice: levelplot for matrix method produces images with blank lines ...
Dear R-users,
I am trying to produce a levelplot of a matrix of values (430x430) using "levelplot" from lattice package. My problem is that I am not able to obtain an image without blank/white lines in some rows and columns (a continuous image). Attached are two png files (different resolution) showing the problem.
Is it possible to obtain "continuous images" as with the
