Gig with Adaptive Path
Adaptive Path is looking for a FreeBSD expert to help us wrangle a couple of FreeBSD servers into an orderly bunch. This short term contract requires that you love FreeBSD and like setting up web servers that will experience significant load while requiring high availability to boot. In addition to server setup, you will help plan for the future by advising the project technical lead on

Re: Re-proposal: web forums
Hello, I like mailing lists more than forums. But I think most "normal" computer users have a different view. That's why I like the idea of a wine forum. n0dalus wrote: > On 4/22/06, Paul <subsolar@subsolar.com> wrote: > >> I don't like web interfaces! >> >> No seriously, I don't have the time to spend going out and monitoring a >>

Asterisk Forums needs your input (http://asterisk.xvoip.com)
Hello all, Our Asterisk unofficial online forums (http://asterisk.xvoip.com) are moving forward and are alive. Thanks to all Asterisk guru's who helped to achieve it. Everyday more and more new members are joining this community, however not everyone is using mailing list or knows how to use IRC, this is why they are coming to web-based forums. We believe that together with Digiums

CentOS Forums
We have CentOS Forums here: http://www.centos.org/modules/newbb/ Akemi Yagi (toracat on IRC) and Fabian Arrotin (arrfab on IRC) are the Forum Moderators. There are a lot of posts there that I find helpful when doing web searches ... but we could use more people answering questions there. Also, we specifically need some people to answer questions concerning Oracle database deployment in the

Comment from OpenLDAP developer regarding "deferring operations"
I received this response from a member of the OpenLDAP core team when asking about meaning of the deferred operations I was seeing. Is it possible that this is what I'm seeing, Timo? -Ben --------------------------------------------- I'd note that if your client is performing search + bind on the same connection in an asynchronous manner, then the server behavior as per RFC4511 is

IMAP folders sort order
Hi all We migrated our IMAP server from Courier to Dovecot. The minor problem appeared: Dovecot LIST command now shows mailbox listing in some weird order. (I suppose, it is filesystem directory order) Previously, with Courier, it was sorted, i.e., the INBOX was the first, followed by other system folders. This is not a problem with our webmail, because it sorts folders by its own. But with some

It's not different at all. The user may want to compile parts of the program with -ffast-math, and parts without it. Same thing

Sweaving single master file to get multiple individualised reports
Hi Apologies in advance if I've missed something obvious. I have read the Sweave manual, the first article in R News, looked at the Help pages, googled Sweave and words like loop, output, files, multiple, done much the same on R site search (in case I missed something on Google) and I couldn't find exactly what I'm after. What I'm trying to do ?---------------------- Make

Sync use accounts between appdb, wine-bugs and wine-forums
Currently, I have two accounts : one for wine-bugs and one for appdb. That doesn't annoy me as it is, but that would be cool f those were merged together. I don't know if it is possible, since appdb, bugzilla and phpbb are three different php programs, but that would help new users to participate on every side of wine. By the way, I saw that my tr'd message went on a new thread on the
