Missing folders inside huge folders catalog.
Hi,
I get into the problem with samba ( Version 4.8.3-Debian ). Don't know how to troubleshoot it.
The test scenario #1:
Creating 5000 folders inside Linux server: #for i in {001..5000}; do mkdir $i; done;
All catalogs are showing in Windows OS.
All catalogs are showing in Linux OS.
The test scenario #2:
Creating 10000 folders inside Linux server: #for i in {001..10000}; do mkdir $i;

IAX2 channels denoted as '(None)'
I have some stuck channels that I think I'm going to have to bounce
Asterisk to get rid of, but am curious to know what they are and how
they've managed to accumulate. The show up with a channel identifier of
'(None)' as in the output below, and do not show up in the soft hangup
list, and so can't be cleared by that method. Here is the output from
iax2 show channels:

Data Frame housekeeping
Hello,
I have a large data frame that is organized by date in a peculiar way. I
am seeking advice on how to transform the data into a format that is of
more use to me.
The data is organized as follows:

X5 X6 X7

debugging T.38 issues
Hello list,
We're currently facing some issues concerning T.38 gateway faxing.
This is a device used almost exclusively for receiving faxes. Calls
are incoming to asterisk on a SIP trunk (sangoma netborder) using
G711A. Gateway mode is activated in the asterisk dialplan towards a
Cisco SPA 112 running firmware 1.3.5. We are using asterisk 1.8.13.0
with the T.38 gateway patch applied (I know I

Dead SIP channels
I am using a2billing as calling card platform with asterisk 1.2.17.
After running for several days, if I issue 'sip show channels' command, I got a lot of dead sip channels although 'show channels' command only show 5 channels. What cause these dead channels? How can I clean out these dead channels? Will they pose any problem to my * server if left alone? What does this (d) mean?

GFID attir is missing after adding large amounts of data
Hi Cluster Community,
we are seeing some problems when adding multiple terrabytes of data to a 2 node replicated GlusterFS installation.
The version is 3.8.11 on CentOS 7.
The machines are connected via 10Gbit LAN and are running 24/7. The OS is virtualized on VMWare.
After a restart of node-1 we see that the log files are growing to multiple Gigabytes a day.
Also there seem to be problems

GFID attir is missing after adding large amounts of data
This is strange, a couple of questions:
1. What volume type is this? What tuning have you done? gluster v info output would be helpful here.
2. How big are your bricks?
3. Can you write me a quick reproducer so I can try this in the lab? Is it just a single multi TB file you are untarring or many? If you give me the steps to repro, and I hit it, we can get a bug open.
4. Other than

IAX2 insists on not using port 4569??
For some reason, starting just today, 1 out 3 of my asterisk servers is
having issues calling 1 other server. The only issue I see is that when
it registers with the problem server it is using port 1027, not 4569.
ie:
Registered to 'Server 1', who sees us as 'Server 2':1027
Server 1 then proceeds to timeout trying to register with Server 2.
The way I have each server registering

Optimize code to read text-file with digits
Hi,
Every day I try to write some small R programs to improve my R-skills.
Yesterday I wrote a small program to read the digits from "A Million
Random Digits" from RAND.
My code works but it is very slow and I guess the code is not optimal.
The digits.txt file downloaded from
https://www.rand.org/pubs/monograph_reports/MR1418.html
contains 20000 lines which looks like this:

Double DTMF digits sent on IAX native bridge
Hi,
I have two asterisk servers one is connected to the PSTN and the other
one is connected to SIP users. The two servers connect with each other
using IAX. When I have an incoming call from PSTN to the asterisk
servers and have a forward to go back out to the PSTN the two IAX
channel bridge together. Now every time I dial a DTMF digit, the
asterisk is sending two DTMF digits. I enable

Stuck SIP channels? -> SIP show channels
Hello all
I've discovered that SIP channels sometimes get stuck in *.
I've read some posts from Fri 29 Aug 2003 which mentions this issue, but
there doesn't seem to be any final answers
I don't know if this is related to the 0001604 bug?
Below is a list from one of the incidents:
I know the (d) means that it is scheduled for destruction but the 10.1.1.45
channel hasn't
