[ANNOUNCE] libmnl 1.0.2 release
Hi! The Netfilter project presents libmnl-1.0.0 libmnl is a minimalistic user-space library oriented to Netlink developers. There are a lot of common tasks in parsing, validating, constructing of both the Netlink header and TLVs that are repetitive and easy to get wrong. This library aims to provide simple helpers that allows you to re-use code and to avoid re-inventing the wheel. This library

[ANNOUNCE] libmnl 1.0.3 release
Hi! The Netfilter project proudly presents: libmnl 1.0.3 libmnl is a minimalistic (really!) library that provides simple abstractions to communicate using Netlink sockets. If you're looking for a way to communicate some kernel subsystem and user-space, Netlink provides a nice method to do so. For those not yet familiar with Netlink, I suggest you to read:

LAN hosts not reachable
Me and my son are running Tinc over 5 nodes, 3 of them got public address and we using them as server. Each node has its own Lan subnet 192.168.0.0/24. Originally we ran network on Openwrt routers with Tinc many years without any problem, but due to limited RAM on routes and change of one router to not Openwrt supported model, we decided to transfer Tinc installation on Raspberry Pi-s in LAN. 4.2.0 Relocation error

Well, he is on a Raspi 2, which is - if I did understand this right - a different architecture. Maybe I did not understand him enough. But anyway, I would presume, that there is hardly any information out on the new Raspi 2... It's

SBC's and ssh's encryptions
Greetings everybody; I have 2 questions today, but to put them in context, I'll describe the setup first. I am in the process of cnc'ing an old Sheldon metal lathe. These can make large amounts of flying metal chips & stringers when doing what they do, so its paramount that the electronics to run them are either far enough away, or put in a box thats well sealed, with fans in

UPS shuts down after restart

I was a bit wrong with step 7 and 8 - Looks like the UPS is "OL CHRG" (according to display) at first but goes to battery ("OL DISCHRG" according to nut) right when the RasPi (and nut) is booting. >> 2. When I pull the plug of the RasPi after UPS went down before main power comes back (so between step 5 and 6), the UPS

RasPi 3.x and RH-based Distro (Slightly OT)
With the release of the Rasberry Pi 3.x, I think we have a platform I could jump on board with. Performance has just been lacking until now! But I really don't want to jump the "RH ship" - I'd rather stick with an environment I am comfortable in. Can anybody comment here on the best way to run RHEL/Fedora/CentOS on a RasPi, or if there's even a useful port? Thanks

System keeps going into FSD mode after power on
Hello, I am a new user of NUT and trying to wrap my ahead around a couple of things. I installed NUT 2.7.4-13 from package on RasPi 4, running Raspbian Linux 11 (bullseye). I have Cyberpower SL700U connected to it. For testing I set battery.charge.low to 90, so I wouldn't have to wait a long time. See all relevant config below. First of all, what seems to happen is that UPS gets to the low

Problem when installing lme4 under Debian stretch
Hi, apparently you are using the backport of R 3.4.2, which provides r-api-3.4. [PATCH nbdkit] golang: Compile against the local nbdkit build, not installed.
When compiling when an older nbdkit is installed, the build would fail because certain symbols such as .get_ready were not defined: ../../src/libguestfs.org/nbdkit/nbdkit.go:541:8: plugin.get_ready undefined (type _Ctype_struct_nbdkit_plugin has no field or method get_ready) This happens because we were using the installed <nbdkit-plugin.h> rather than the local copy. Cross compile R for ARM target
Hi Johannes, Thank you for your quick feddback. As I am using linux os build with buildroot on my raspberry pi I can't use package manager such as apt-get to install R. What I need to do is to get the precompiled R for arm arch and then when I build my linux image using buildroot I include the R precompiled package to my rootfs. Could you please send me a link where I can download
