TCP connection forwarding troubles
For some time I have routinely websurfed across a forwarded TCP connection using SSH. The other end of the TCP tunnel connects to a Squid proxy cache on the same machine. This usually works. ipfw: did i forget anything?

Controlling Outbound traffic...alternative to dsl_qos_queue

[LLVMdev] Why the same code is much slower in JIT compared to separate executable?
I run the same simple Fibonacci computing code in JIT and as a native executable. I see that with argument 45 JIT runs for 11.3sec and executable runs for 7.5sec. Why there is such difference? USB UPS problem
Maybe a kernel USB issue, but people on this list may have encountered this issue. I am testing a new UPS (EATON 5E 1500iUSB) and am having a problem with the USB connection failing. My old UPS (EATON Ellipse MAX 1500) works just fine with the latest f30.
