Worker cleanup and TTL
Hello. I read in an old announcement by Ezra, relating to the older version of BackgrounDRb, about workers being able to clean up after themselves and a TTL feature. I''m not sure if these things are present in the newer version. I''ve tried overriding the delete method in my worker but when I call delete_worker, the method doesn''t appear to be called. Is there a right

[smbd4wins] wins hook - ttl so long ?
Hi folks, i've a question about the ttl, which my wins hook script gets from smbd4wins: I record many entries with extrem high ttls like refresh $SERVER 20 1181977528 $IPADDRS... the ttl of 1181977528 means ~13.000 days which is very long. if i look into the ldb itself, there's an expiry time of ~ 24days (16.06.2007). ---- dn: name=$SERVER,type=0x20 [...] expireTime:

iptables info in proc - ttl
Hello List, I am having problem in getting iptables recent module working for me, so I was looking into /proc to get some clues. I see following line in the /proc for my iptables recent rule: # cat /proc/net/ipt_recent/badguy src=10.0.0.17 ttl: 63 last_seen: 3301974512 oldest_pkt: 2 3301973507, 3301974512 What does ttl mean? Is it time-to-live or what? What does it signify? -- CS

WINS client 'ttl'
Hello. So, my Samba server, as a WINS client, registers itself with the [Windows] WINS server. Then, when (how often) does it refresh its WINS registration ? I have a problem in that the Windows WINS server is losing its WINS db, then my customers can't find my Samba server. Is there a way to instruct my Samba servers to re-register more often ? Thanks. Unable to Set TTL for Name Server Record
I noticed when Samba initially created a NS it gave it a ttl=900. If I delete this record from my zone and create a new one. It gives the NS a ttl=0. Attempting to set using Microsoft DNS tools does not take. Can this be done any other way? Using samba-tool? Thanks. Name=, Records=6, Children=0 SOA: serial=481, refresh=900, retry=600, expire=86400, minttl=0,

using bind dlz is there a way to set ttl to zero?
I'm still not sure of the best option for my setup. I have a couple test domains and the dhcp for my domains is handled by another server that I use as a router. I currently have it set to point to ns records at my ad dc servers so that requests that are domain specific get answered by the correct ad dc. The only issues that arise are cached records when I update something. One option

Retrieve TTL of key from the agent
Hello, I'm writing a system to maintain keys within an SSH agent, and all of these keys will only remain in the agent for a short amount of time. This is done to limit access to that key for a short period, as well as to avoid the agent from being cluttered up with a large number of unique SSH keys. This system decrypts the SSH keys on the disk and then loads them in to the agent. I would

[Bridge] Why TTL is changing when sending a ping?
The situation is this: INTERNET -- ROUTER -- ETHERNET+WIFI -- PC's The conection between INTERNET and ROUTER is done with 2 LINKs with static IP's. The conection between ROUTER and PC's is done via ETHERNET lan with many bridges and ACCESSPOINTS. The PC's are in a IP subnet, the BRIDGES in another IP subnet, the AP's in another IP subnet. The ROUTER has 1 bridge interface

the field ttl in struct referral doesn't work
In samba source code, the file "source\include\msdfs.h" defines a struct named referral. In this struct, there is a field named ttl which is used to decide how long should client cache referral, and this field uses constant REFERRAL_TTL(#define REFERRAL_TTL 600) as default. My problem is when i set REFERRAL_TTL to be 10, it doesn't work.

altering revert effect based on if dropped on given droppable?
Hi All Does any one know how to specify a different reverteffect on a draggable if its successfully dropped on a given droppable? What I need to do is when an image is dragged onto a droppable image I want the drop image to be replaced with the drag image, the drag image to fade out and then reappear where it was at the start of the drag, as opposed to the draggable scrolling across the page

Altering the starting URL for webrick
Hi all, With webrick (i.e. "ruby script/server") is there a way to alter the starting URL? In other words, instead of "http://foo.bar.com", I''d like it to start at "http://foo.bar.com/myapp"? And, still be on port 3000? If it''s not possible, that''s fine. Just thought I''d ask. Thanks, Dan

altering a model for multiple tests
I have a model "Collection" which has a constant PATH. When in development or production mode, I want PATH == "data/images". When in test mode, I want PATH == "data/test/images". Here is my partial solution: The Collection class defines PATH so that it points the default (non-test) location. In my test file "collection_test.rb", I overrid that assignment

Altering Window Decoration
This may seem rather obvious, but how do I alter the window decorations, such as making the titlebar opaque, and changing it's colour? In CCSM -> Window Decoration -> Command I have set emerald, as I use KDE (on Ubuntu). The CCSM- > Window Decoration screen does not have an option for changing titlebar opacity or colour. The Emerald Theme Manager doesn't seem to be able to change

[LLVMdev] code-altering Passes for llc
Does the error function *have* to be auto-generated in your pass? Perhaps the original code should use invokes, and your pass insert the error check with a jne to the "unwind" block.
