tiny typo in optim/N-M documentation (PR#1109)
In the optim() documentation, the control parameter "maxit" says "There is no other stopping criteria." That should be "are", or "criterion" ... While I'm at it -- poking at the code a little bit, it looks as if the initial simplex is set from the initial point by displacing each parameter value by max(0.1,0.1*pmax(fabs(Bvec))), where Bvec is the

Saving endpoint statuses to database with pjsip and realtime
Hi all, Is there any native way to save endpoint statuses to database? I use asterisk 13 with pjsip and realtime, and didn't found proper way. I read that there is config parameter in sip.conf: rtupdate=yes. But how can I do that with pjsip? Or I should use sip.conf with pjsip simultaneously. Or is there any kind of hooks, which allows make custom action on endpoint status change. Thanks.

printf() in C
Hi, 1. I'm making an R package in Windows 2000, and I'm including the .c files. Everything works fine, except that when I call the printf() function in the C code, it doesn't actually print anything. I'm including the following header files: #include <stdio.h> #include <math.h> #include <sys/types.h> #include <stdlib.h> and I have the recommended MinGW

unify core printf()/dprintf(): thoughts?
If I understand correctly, the Linux kernel has a function printk() designed for most printing functions where a string prefix determines where the message is seen. Would something like this be useful in Syslinux? As I see it, there's essentially 3 separate printing methods with an additional variation. Goals: - To keep data size smaller, avoid 2+ identical static strings (akin to {

unify core printf()/dprintf(): thoughts?
Genec, your approach is also very insteresting, but I would like to present an alternative which will basically works with three priority states. ALTERNATIVE APPROACH: FILTER AND PRIORITIES ON PRINT. ----- Detail: Lower the priority number higher the importance of the message. ----- - default priority level: * Messages without a prefix will *always* take this priority level. ----- - debug
