tinydns -some help needed
Is there a tinydns or dns wizard that could give me some hints, please?
I am setting up and testing tinydns, but have some problems figuring out
how to route. I do get dnscache to listen on tinydns. Also I do not
understand why it will not answer the given ip (127.0.0.1) to the name
server.

About NAS versus Samba
Hi there,
Has anyone tried to configure a NAS server to authenticate users using a
Samba PDC, or even a Samba4 DC (AD-compatible) or an IPA server?
I'm evaluating replacing some Linux file server for a NAS product, but
all them make me nervous when the vendor talks about "Active Directory
support" and nothing else.

wine x printers
Sorry if go to the same place again, but it is not clear for me if installing a printer suitable for windows is really easy in wine. I'm talking about a X1250 lexmark, that does not work under ubuntu.
If yes to my question, will it be accessed through open office, or word?

*Dns Server -> Samba Internal DNS server , Bind 9.9.1-P2*

have access to default share such as sysvol by dns name (\\test.s4.com
\sysvol)
but if created a share in smb.conf Only access by IP such as :
\\test.s4.com\myshare -> no access and ask me for user and password !
