[PATCH RFC v2 1/4] virtio: add API to detect legacy devices
transports need to be able to detect legacy-only
devices (ATM balloon only) to use legacy path
to drive them.
Add a core API to do just that.
The implementation just blacklists balloon:
not too pretty, but let's not over-engineer.

[PATCH 0/6] virtio_balloon: virtio 1 support
Virtio 1.0 doesn't include a modern balloon device.
At some point we'll likely define an incompatible interface with a different
ID. But for now, it's not a big change to support a transitional balloon
device: this has the advantage of supporting existing drivers, transparently.
The only issue is with the stats buffer, which has misaligned fields.
Seems easy to fix by prepending a 6

[PATCH v5 0/8] s390: virtio: support protected virtualization
Enhanced virtualization protection technology may require the use of
bounce buffers for I/O. While support for this was built into the virtio
core, virtio-ccw wasn't changed accordingly.
Some background on technology (not part of this series) and the
terminology used.

[PATCH RFC 00/11] linux: towards virtio-1 guest support
This patchset tries to go towards implementing both virtio-1 compliant and
transitional virtio drivers in Linux. Branch available at
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/kvms390/linux virtio-1
This is based on some old patches by Rusty to handle extended feature bits
and endianness conversions. Thomas implemented the new virtio-ccw transport
revision command, and I hacked up some

Support for hibernation on s390 has been recently been removed with
commit 394216275c7d ("s390: remove broken hibernate / power management
support"), no need to keep unused code around.
