Hey mates! I am currently running Puppy Linux 4.1.2 and I recently installed BF1942 with all the necessary patches. I also have ATI Catalyst support and CS:S is able to run but it has many artifacts on the screen, which makes it unplayable. Although, it is able to run. Hey, since 1.0RC1 my 4th mouse button on my logitech G5 doesn't work anymore...all games that I've (BF2, Bf1942, CS:S, F.E.A.R) doesn't react when I press the 4th button...what is that for a bug? Hi, I'm having trouble running 3d apps including the Direct3d test in Dxdiag under wine. I think that the problem is that dxdiag displays my Graphics card as this: X11 Windowing System This is obviously wrong because I am running this on a Radeon 2600 Pro. When I try to run the Direct3d test It just crashes Wine. I am running the latest 8.04 Ubuntu with the Latest Fglrx Graphics drivers.

Here's a vote for getting this fixed upstream. Bug still exists in 1.2-rc6 and have been dealing with it since I started using Ubuntu around 3 years ago. BF1942 is my favorite game of all time, so having it working perfectly is high on my wish list for Wine.

since i updated ("ia32-libs") my ubuntu lucid lynx i get a blackscreen whenever i try to start warcraft 3. maybe it has something to do with sound cuz i can open another program which has none (nor is a game) or it has something to do with opengl? i think it has something to do with sound since ia32-libs is used for flash too. greetz
