PXE booting WinPE with UEFI architecture
This got me closer, but it got to "Encapsulating winpe.wim..." and never went through the rest of the way. Ultimately PXELINUX apparently timed out and the machine rebooted. Here is relative portion of pxelinux: LABEL SCCM OSD Boot MENU LABEL ^2. SCCM OSD Boot com32 linux.c32 append wimboot initrdfile=bootmgr.exe,BCD,boot.sdi,winpe.wim TEXT HELP

PXE booting WinPE with UEFI architecture
Anyone have luck with pxechn32 and bootmgfw.efi? I'm getting the "Unable to retrieve first package" issue as reported by others. Really, any advice for UEFI booting into a winpe environment off of pxelinux 6.03 would be beneficial. I have the same issue, syslinux6.03, using syslinux.efi I have a HP G9 BL460c blade with EFI and a vmware virtualised guest with EFI enabled. I'm attempting to install rhel6.6, kernel 2.6.32. Both machines will boot successfully, load kernel vmlinuz, then start to load

Syslinux 6.02 BIOS - issue on physical devices
Hi Thanks for confirmation about syslinux 6.02 requirements. I see small misunderstanding. A used word "Syslinux 6.02 BIOS" mean the respective syslinux binary files from "/bios" subdirectory for PC's with Legacy PXE or PC's with PXE where CSM mode is enabled. Some idea where is the issue? Do the syslinux 6.02 working well from PXE on multiple PC's in your place?

Boot ISO Using Memdisk on UEFI ONLY System
Hello, I'm sorry to bother, but was hoping that someone might be able to help me with this situation. I have a multiboot that I've maintained now for years, with no issues running on MBR or UEFI-CSM; however, I've now been tasked with using this on newer Dell systems which do not allow any kind of MBR booting whatsoever. I finally have my menu populating, but when any ISO attempts to

Can almost boot on UEFI win8.1 laptop
I have used syslinux 4.0x and earlier for many years, with Puppy Linux and more recently Quirky Linux. Though, my knowledge of all the capabilities of syslinux remains rudimentary. I am new to UEFI. I recently got my hands on a win8.1 laptop, 64-bit system, and decided to tackle booting Quirky on it, from a USB stick. I turned off Secure Boot. I wrote /usr/share/syslinux/gptmbr.bin to the flash

working with R graphics remotely
Hi netters, Now I'm connecting from my local windows machine to a remote linux machine and launch R out there using SSH. When I tried to create grahics, like using plot or heatmap, I cannot see the output. Maybe a new R window displaying the graphics has popped out in the remote machine? Or I need to change some settings for the graphics to display? I don't know. I googled it and

UEFI and PXE
We have a working PXE setup. I've tried to adapt it to UEFI as per RHEL6 manual, but the client won't boot. Strangely, tcpdump shows that the client tries to download all files via tftp from the dhcp server rather than the tftp server (they are different). next-server is pointing to the tftp server. Any clues?
