UEFI PXE Difficulties
Im a long time PXE boot fan. I use it for wimbooting windows PE, linux images via http, and memtest mainly. Ive got it nicely customised with my own graphics etc. Then UEFI booting came along. Till now ive been content simply setting bios's to CSM mode and doing my thing.... Ive had another go at EFI PXE booting and can now get the menus and grahics from syslinux working, but I cannot get

Shamelessly, and off-topic, but not _that_ much... :) For several months we have seen reports (of different matters) here in the Syslinux Mailing List in which some HP model(s) have been having problems network-booting (in UEFI mode; I don't recall whether there were also reports using BIOS/CSM mode). Among the several reports involving HP hardware, I

I don't know the syslinux answer to this, but you can definitely do it via iPXE and wimboot: see http://ipxe.org/wimboot for instructions. Michael

Syslinux 6.02 BIOS - issue on physical devices
Hi Thanks for confirmation about syslinux 6.02 requirements. I see small misunderstanding. A used word "Syslinux 6.02 BIOS" mean the respective syslinux binary files from "/bios" subdirectory for PC's with Legacy PXE or PC's with PXE where CSM mode is enabled. Some idea where is the issue? Do the syslinux 6.02 working well from PXE on multiple PC's in your place?

PXE booting WinPE with UEFI architecture
This got me closer, but it got to "Encapsulating winpe.wim..." and never went through the rest of the way. Ultimately PXELINUX apparently timed out and the machine rebooted. Here is relative portion of pxelinux: LABEL SCCM OSD Boot MENU LABEL ^2. SCCM OSD Boot com32 linux.c32 append wimboot initrdfile=bootmgr.exe,BCD,boot.sdi,winpe.wim TEXT HELP

casper-rw and PXE
Hallo, syslinux, I'm working with an USB stick and an *.iso image. On an USB stick I can use "casper-rw" and "home-rw" for persistent directories/files. Under PXE I haven't yet found a similar option. Is that a syslinux-/pxelinux problem, or is that a "casper" problem? Example: USB stick, part of "isolinux.cfg": label desinfect menu label

PXE over HTTP instead of TFTP - flip flopping OS boots
Is there a way to boot PXELINUX 100% over HTTP instead of TFTP? I can pull over pxelinux.0 via HTTP (DHCP config) but all the config files are pulled over via TFTP. DHCPD config file example: filename "pxelinux.0" ; # boots via TFTP filename "http://10.1.1.10/pxelinux.0" # boots via HTTP My goal is to alternate booting between Linux and Memtest for some hardware stress
