syslinux 6.03pre17 + gpxelinux.0 + iso from http not working
Ady, I had not previously tried three slashes, but have now. No difference unfortunately. I've also tried using the web server on the same machine as the PXE server and using 'http://127.0.0.1/Software/Util1.iso' as the URL, again to no avail. It appears not to be able to connect to anything via http or https. Presumably it uses network settings (such as the gateway) provided by the

syslinux 6.03pre17 + gpxelinux.0 + iso from http not working
Is there anything else I can try before I give up? I tried putting the verbosity of tftpd-hpa up to 9 but it's not giving me any extra clues. Can I make syslinux produce more verbose output of messages? Regards, Matt > -----Original Message----- > From: H. bug (I think) in gpxelinux.0 ?
Hi, Currently I am building a new PXE boot environment and during that I noticed something odd while attempting to boot using one of those universal netbootdisks based on the '3Com Universal NDIS driver v1.00' (aka undis3c) driver. Using pxelinux.0 this works like a charm, but when I switch to gpxelinux.0 the 3Com driver bails out on me... all other configuration is the same. Have

Chainload pxelinux from pxelinux and pass parameters or change root dir?
On 06/16/2014 10:41 AM, Gene Cumm wrote: > [...] Initially I wrote pxechn.c32 to allow further > modifications of the DHCP data [...] Awesome! In fact, this might allow us to install an automatic 'http' prefix on all subsequent requests, to avoid slow tftp --- or is that a bad idea, and/or is there a way to default all transfers to http without using pxechn and without prefixing

Centos 5.1 distro: How to upgrade 5.0 to 5.1 with yum??
Hi, Redhat announced RHEL 5.1 on Nov 07, so hopefully CentOS 5.1 will be ready shortly. But I get kind of nervous of the arrival of 5.1. My problem is: I have hundreds Centos 5.0 boxes just finished installation and I will continue to install and upgrade hundreds more in next few months. With the arrival of Centos 5.1, I don't like to reinstall them anymore but continuous upgrade instead

Why isn't Samba honouring UNIX permissions? [NOT PROTECTIVELY MARKED]
Classification: NOT PROTECTIVELY MARKED Solaris 9 Samba 3.4.5 I know this isn't the sort of query that gets much response but I'd be really grateful of any advice people can offer. I'm getting really fed up with Samba as I've never been able to make it work properly. Either I'm missing something basic (probably) or it just doesn't behave in the way I think it should!

3.86-pre1 gpxelinux.0 SIS900 long boot time / fails to boot / no entries in tftp server log
Okay guys, This is separate from my last few messages. Along with those attempts, I decided to migrate from pxelinux.0 to gpxelinux.0 in my existing setup. Admittedly I haven't tried previous gpxelinux.0's but I am willing to if someone thinks it would be useful. Everything works as expected with pxelinux.0 of the same version.
