It's x86 arch. The reason of compiling pxelinux only is that i want to add tcp support, not http and ftp. ? 2014-05-08 18:09:15?"Gene Cumm" <gene.cumm at gmail.com> ??? [PATCH] hdt: libmenu.a no longer exists
From: Matt Fleming <matt.fleming at linux.intel.com> Don't link against libmenu.a, it no longer exists as it was removed in commit 74518b8b691c ("elflink: Make ELF the default object format"). This fixes the following build error, make[2]: *** No rule to make target `../cmenu/libmenu/libmenu.a', needed by `hdt.c32'. Stop. Signed-off-by: Matt Fleming

Missing make dependencies?
I'm seeing some sporadic build failures with 'make -j4'. The failures are: make[4]: *** No rule to make target 'hello.c32', needed by 'all'. Stop. I've only seen the failures with com32/samples/hello.c32 and com32/rosh/rosh.c32. I'm not a make expert, but I think it's due to missing dependencies. This patch seems to fix my failures, but I'm

[GIT PULL] elflink bug fixes
Hi Peter, Please pull the following changes. Paulo, I had to revert your "pxe: resolve names via DNS from protected-mode code" change because dns_resolv() is only implemented for PXELINUX and causes undefined symbol references for ISOLINUX, etc. Feel free to make the change again on top of the revert. The following changes since commit e7bd19def830e8341b1a100956345f1028740b9e:

[PATCH 0/5] Deleting __intcall() from Syslinux
From: Matt Fleming <matt.fleming at intel.com> Since we can't use __intcall() for EFI, and since we can now have the ELF module code resolve all our symbols at runtime, we should delete as many references to __intcall() as possible and just access the symbols directly. The most interesting patch is the support for weak symbols. We need to be able to reference derivative-specific

[GIT PULL] elflink ldlinux
Hi, These patches contain support for some features that are already in Syslinux 4 but weren't working properly on the elflink branch. It's another step closer to feature parity with Syslinux 4. Having to jump through the comboot API for localboot support is less than ideal and I'll eventually fix that, probably when we move a big chunk of code from asm to C. Also, there's a

RFC: [Patch] libpuload: use previous TFTP OK status definition
libupload: Use previous TFTP OK status definition FTBFS: com32/hdt/hdt-dump.c:227:39: error: ?TFTP_OK? undeclared (first use in this function) Signed-off-by: Gene Cumm <gene.cumm at gmail.com> Should we trim "ERR_" off the definition or change all of the places this macro is used? Trimming means we have two possible spots with incongruent definitions (bit order difference).

[PATCH] 4 Patches for initrd+= and initrdfile= Options
Attached are 4 patches against Syslinux 4.06 providing two new options for the linux.c32 ComBoot32 module. If we are shifting gears towards 4.10 or 5 any time soon, feel free to let me know and I'll attempt to apply the patches to those and to deal with any conflicts. You can merge these commits onto your 4.06 from my 'multi_initrd' branch at:

[PATCH] build: sort sources to build in a more deterministic way
It has been observed that binaries contents are depending on the order of linked objects. This order is caused by GNU make's wildcard function and the position of sources on filesystem. This change tries to prevent this kind of randomness. Also consider building using -j1 flag to make it even more reproductible. Change-Id: Ie8eee7f336e6f1fa2863c4150d967afd15519f1d Bug:

[PATCH 0/3] elflink fixes

[GIT PULL] elflink fixes
Hi Peter, The main part of this pull request includes commits that try to replace as many __intcall() invocations as possible. Some remain, but not many (and eventually they'll be gone too). There's also a patch to make better use of ld's --as-needed option and various other bug fixes/cleanups. The following changes since commit ff7334a2ce536b7f4b1f6d6f93ff4e285a3bd45a: Only

SYSLINUX 3.05 released
I decided the FAT directory-parsing bug was about as serious as it gets, so I decided to push out a new release. However, I decided I feel comfortable enough with the new features (or at least, that they wouldn't break anything else, knock on wood) that I did the patch off the 3.10 development tree and called it 3.05. Changes in 3.05: * New API function "shuffle and
