Install gptmbr with Windows
Does anyone know how to install the gptmbr.bin onto a USB drive with
Windows? I noticed that it would be really easy to modify the source of the
installer to install gptmbr.bin instead of mbr.bin with the -m flag, but
I'd like a solution that doesn't require me to maintain my own custom
syslinux. I'm open to writing and submitting a patch to add a new flag (say
-g) to install

I didn't know that this hadn't existed in dovecot v2.2.9.Yes sorry I saw his reply after I sent my email.

I am not certain that this is the right place to post this, but maybe
some kind soul can point me in the right direction if not. And I
apologize if this is the wrong spot...The reason I posted here is that
I recall running across a syslinux changlog that said "..added support

[LLVMdev] stability of llvm ir across releases
Are you saying the textual form of IR can change, but bitcode doesn't? I
don't know what you mean by assembly syntax.
Is there a changlog entry when the textual IR changes?

MySQL cmd % pattern matching
Hi All
Does anyone know how to use the MySQL cmd in Asterisk with LIKE and % in
the query?
I have:
exten => s,5,Set(query=SELECT name from contacts where tel like
%${number})
exten => s,6,MySQL(Connect connid hostname username password dbname)
exten => s,7,MySQL(Query resultid ${connid} ${query})
But there seems to be a problem with the % sign and I don't know how to

Outbound Caller ID number on E1
Hi All
I am having a problem setting the outbound callerid number on a PRI E1
in South Africa. The outbound number keeps on appearing as the main PRI
number. How does it work between Asterisk and the Telko? More
importantly how do I get it working?
Kind Regards

Handset phone to replace Flash Operator Pane l
Breeze to set up, too. To monitor and transfer to SIP/1000 / ext 1000:
1. Insert exten => 1000,hint,SIP/1000 into your default context (the context
the extension is in)
2. In the monitoring phone's web interface, click Function Keys, pick a key,
change it to Destination and type in SIP/1000. Once you submit the form it
will change to a SIP URL, that's OK.
3. There is no step 3.

Handset phone to replace Flash Operator Panel
Hi All
Has anyone come across a handset that can somehow replace FOP? Some
users don't like FOP unless it is on a dedicated PC.
Thanks

PSTN calls are quiet
Sip to sip calls are fine, both local on Asterisk and over a SIP
gateway, however some people who call on the PSTN line say we are very
queit and vice versa, can the volume be turned up on the PSTN line?
The volume buttons on the VoIP phones only turns up the others voice,
so this is a fix for us, but how do I make our voices louder for the
people on the PSTN line?
Thanks.
Paul.

puppet 2.7.11 + ruby 1.9.3 + passenger
So does anyone have a working setup with puppet 2.7.11 + ruby 1.9.3 + passenger?
I am currently using rack-1.0.1 (rack-1.4.1 had same behavior) and
passenger 3.0.11, and I get some authentication problems (shown
below). If I use an auth.conf that is wide open (auth any, allow *),
the agent can successfully retrieve his catalog and plugins and apply
them. Using webrick works fine as well.

Compile syslinux64.exe on ubuntu
Hello,
I wanted to recompile syslinux64.exe (windows 64bit binary) on ubuntu.
The default ./find-mingw64.sh script failed to locate mingw64 on
ubuntu, even after
root at htpc:~# apt-get install gcc-mingw-w64
So I had to patch the script to let it find mingw64 on ubuntu as well.
Patch is below, please apply to syslinux sources:

PRI Bridging and Recording
Hi All
Does anyone have any ideas around what processing power is needed when
bridging PRI channels and recording?
I am not sure how the bridging takes place with and without recording?
I basically have a situation like this:
Telko <----> Asterisk <-----> Legacy PBX
Where the lines are PRI's between Telko and Asterisk and Asterisk and
the Legacy PBX.

Thanks

more inter-subnet browsing wierdness
We are seeing some strange inter-subnet browsing issues here, our setup is
as follows:
.129 subnet
[ samba box ]
|
|
[ router ]
^
_.1 subnet _/ \_ .9 subnet_
The .129 subnet contains only the samba server configured to the letter from
the browsing.txt file. The .1 subnet conists of win98 and winME boxes all
configured from DHCP to use the samba box for WINS lookups.

Syslinux 6.x EFI PXE
It looks like it is more like the issue in bug #26. In the tcpdump I can
see the client attempt to RRQ the kernel but the client itself reports "No
file found." I am having similiar issues as reported in both bug reports
with getting Syslinux 6.02 to work as in syslinux64.efi gets pulled but
then the client gets stuck on ldlinux.e64.
Can I use http/nfs instead after syslinux64.efi gets
