The gPXE in the Syslinux tree is ridiculously old. We could either replace it with iPXE or just drop it, giving people a recipe for how to integrate with iPXE themselves. What do people think? -hpa

But i think i can?t use it, as i don?t reach the point where the debug module will be available.. it just pulls the lpxelinux.0 and tries to get the next download-- the ldlinux.c32 and it fails...and freezes. I've manually replaced gPXE with iPXE for years, works like charm. I suggest updating the Makefile to use undionly.kkkpxe because of the change

Hello, I am new to this list. We are trying to move away from our WDS server with PXElinux mods and are testing using iPXE on a linux box only. We mainly use HP but also have Dells, Panasonic, and Lenovo. On almost a dozen models tested now, everything works great. These were mostly laptops but a Dell Optiplex 360 and 380 booted fine. Hi there, i just build a new ipxelinux.0 with an EMBED=../../syslinux-5/core/pxelinux.0. i'm trying to load up my vesamenu.c32 menu from http:. and offcorse i want this as optimal as possible, with the least needed GET requests. OLD situation with v4: PXE ROM -> ipxelinux.0 (tftp) -> menu.php (http) -> vesamenu.c32 (http) NEW situation with v5: PXE ROM -> ipxelinux.0 (tftp)

Maybe you would be interested to know it is a problem on any virtualisation product not just ESX. Second it is a problem in gPXE that you embedded in gPXElinux.
