I believe unless the kernel specifically supports EFI boot, it can not
be booted.

[PATCH] efi: reuse UDP port with sendto
Without an assigned source port, Transmit function assign a random new
source port to the packet being sent. It thus have to be set before
calling Transmit if the source port have already been decided.
Conversly, we have to save the assigned port to reuse it later if
needed.
Resolve bug #35.

Syslinux 6.x EFI PXE
It looks like it is more like the issue in bug #26. In the tcpdump I can
see the client attempt to RRQ the kernel but the client itself reports "No
file found." I am having similiar issues as reported in both bug reports
with getting Syslinux 6.02 to work as in syslinux64.efi gets pulled but
then the client gets stuck on ldlinux.e64.
Can I use http/nfs instead after syslinux64.efi gets

[PATCH 0/4] efi: Makefile improvement
On mageia I'm using the following patch
https://svnweb.mageia.org/packages/cauldron/syslinux/current/SOURCES/syslinux-nogit.patch?revision=600959&view=markup
If it does solve your issue to, I could try pushing it into the repo.

EFI build problems
Hi,
The internal Gnu-EFI build gives me grief:
* efi/check-gnu-efi.sh: uses realpath, which is not available on my
Debian wheezy system. I now use readlink -f, but wonder if it's
needed at all.
* efi/build-gnu-efi.sh: uses realpath, like above, and also pushd/popd,
which is not built into a standard Bourne shell invoked by #!/bin/sh.
Again I wonder what's the point of it, as
